Our waiter was solicitous and excellent with advice--which really made the experience a special occasion for 3 of us. He spent a lot of time explaining things and brought several wines to taste before we settled on individual glasses instead of a bottle. The menu emphasizes the French-style bistro steak frites with various sauces. They're good, but if you like your steak rare, then this isn't for you. The rib eye only comes in 22 oz so 2 of us split it, which was great. We had requested a booth on open table and were happy that the request was fulfilled. We were fortunate enough to have our first-time visit waiter, Miquel N, as our waiter again this time. And always he was excellent! We also met with the manager, Alex, who greeted us and made us feel 'at-home'. He also was able to turn down the spotlight, as it was shining brightly on my girlfriend.
The food, as always, was excellent. What really sells us about the place is the courteous staff; you're treated as a person and just another bill.

The seating policy needs to be looked at because they seat people too close together, even when they are empty. Because groups go here to celebrate, the noise level is unpleasant. In the Tysons area and Lettuce Entertain You network, our go-to place used to be Wildfire (which we still frequent but not as often). One of our new neighborhood go-to place is Mon Ami Gabi. The steak au poivre and caesar salad ... and of course, the pommes frites (potato fries), never disappoint. In time, we will sample most of the menu but for now, enjoying the foods we know we like. Can be busy and bustling; service is not always consistent (e.g., sometimes offered ground pepper, sometimes not) but still good. Three members of our group were at the bar when we arrived for our dinner reservation at 7:30pm. I noticed the coat racks located near the bar and dinning area.
My party of 6 were seated immediately at a very nice round corner table over looking the dining area.
When we ordered our cocktails the waiter informed us that all wine was half price on Sunday so I ordered a bottle of Tainttinger La Francais champagne to celebrate. It was $81 on sale for $40.50.
