Place looks really cool. Naan and food is pretty good. I had spinach naan, madras chicken and my husband got some type of lamb in a sauce (sorry forgot the name of dish). I tried his plate but preferred mine much more, but that's because his was too spicy. Service time is a bit slow but understandable for a busy weekend evening. But when naan came we only got the plain and had to ask for spinach one again. Glad we got seated right away though because we had reservations otherwise would have had to wait in line. There was a very loud and obnoxious table next to us and we were trying to have a romantic night out so that kind of ruined the romantic mood but if that group would have left, entire place would have been much quieter. Overall nice

The food was not bad but our waiter was obviously new and it seemed like no one bothered to train him. We went for Dine Around Seattle which mean $33 for a 3-course dinner. When the waiter asked if we were ready to order, we let him know we were doing the 3-course meal and informed him of our choices but he only wrote down what we wanted for appetizers and said he'll come back for the rest of our order. The large menus sat on our table our entire meal and the hostess who should've known better seemed like she knew what he was doing wrong since she noticed that none of the menus were coming back (he wasn't only servicing our table) yet she did nothing about it. We also did not get utensils with our dessert... just odd.

We went for a Dine Around Seattle Lunch. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is clean. The Chai tea was disappointing as it was their appetizer since the soup the was unavailable. The vegan option was too spicy for my wife, so we switched main courses. The chicken dish was good. Overall, we will not be back.

We LOVED the food, the pretty design. The lamb rack was just amazing. The only sad part was a very rude server. She seemed annoyed to serve us and at the end after asking us if we wanted to look at the dessert menus she came by in a rush and threw the menus on our table from a distance. Weird! She was rude to workers there and told them off loudly for all to hear. She shouldn't humiliate anyone like that. She should get fired. The experience would've been perfect otherwise. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and chose the restaurant on a friend's recommendation. I would give a lot more stars if it weren't for that poor service. i did see other servers treat their customers kindly so I think depends on who you get.

I should say right at the start I am from Glasgow, Scotland where there are more excellent Indian restaurants than anywhere outside India. Tandoor dishes should come with rice & a choice of sauce. Don't cut the naan! A veg Pakora and a chicken one would be nice. Overall it was good & I'm sure the menu will expand.

I have been here many times before for the good food, but this time I was disappointed. Did they have the B Team in the kitchen? The naan bread is delicious as always, but the Chicken Tikka Massala was a bit tomato-sauce like and the chicken itself a bit rubbery... I have had the same dish there before and it was much better.

Visiting from the east coast and we made reservations based on reviews and recommendations from Seattle times food critics. Lovely decor. Dishes clearly recognizable as Indian food but the flavors were muted, the naan dry, and the service brusque. Can't say that we would go again. Wish we had tried another spot.

This was our fourth or fifth time at Moksha. It's a great place to go post movie at Lincoln Square and having just seen 100 Foot Journey it was the perfect place to go for what we call dunch. On weekends we often have a late breakfast, skip lunch and dinner and have dunch. Halfway between dinner and lunch. We arrived at 3:30 and they still had a nice crowd eating early dinners or late lunches. Had some superb mulligatawny, spinach samosas and drinks then the lamb buranyi and coconut chicken curry. All were delicious. Great service and a nice experience. If you want Indian without leaving Bell Square, this is the place.

The men's bathroom was dirty, there was so much fluid on the floor below the urinal that I suspect a plumming problem. I also find it unacceptable when a waitress clears plates but takes the used knife and fork and places these on the table. My knife had some hummus left on it, and was now resting on the table without a table cloth. We all know how tables are cleaned...

First time visit to Moksha. Great location with easy parking. The appetitzers were the highlight; we had samosas, hummus, and chicken. skewers. Entre was okay. We chose three: chicken with curry, a halibut dish and lamb. Best was the halibut, good portion, moist and the sauce was good. Lamb was dry, and a disappointment. The chicken curry was okay but not memorable. Our server was attentive but did not really know very much about the menu. Our party of three decided we would come back for the appetizers, but skip the entres.

I ate at Moksha for the 3rd time last week. The food is good despite being expensive relative to better Indian food I have had in Portland, Chicago, London, and Kuala Lumpur. However, the service was poor. Our waitress was the least engaged person I have seen on a job for a long time. The place had diners at only 3 tables but she spent her time talking to the front staff. She walked past once and said "how is everything" without stopping. My wife had to ask if she was talking to us. By the time the meal was over I was not the least surprised when she dropped off my credit card and bill and walked away with an unispired "come again" spoken with her back to us.

This was our 4th visit to Moksha, and the first real disappointment. Although the food remains very good, especially the Indian eggplant vegetarian dish, there were some surprising problems. First, from the time we sat down we were bothered by small flying insects. Not just one or two, but enough that we were swatting through much of our meal. Second, our waiter, while friendly, seemed unfamiliar with the menu and less professional than we've experienced in past visits. Finally and most importantly, the flan dessert was supposed to have a sugar glaze on top. By mistake, ours was topped with a layer of salt. Big surprise. When we pointed this out to the waiter he replaced it with an apology but this left an unpleasant taste for the meal.

Hello, Moksha is one of our best restaurants. Last sunday was great, but I did not like the service. The food came in one big plat where they put a small portion of rice, chicken masala and naan. I was not happy to pay for this lunch. More better to pay a normal lunch than eat special for $15 for 3 entrees. Thanks for good food and ambiance

Our food was delish but experience could have been better. Our reservation for 7:30 on a Friday for two of us. We were seated at a small table next to a families with several small children on both sides of us. With kids running around our table we considered leaving. One of the families was finishing and once they left we moved tables which was larger so we could sit next to each other. As a mother of 3 I understand however if I'm leaving my children at home I don't want other peoples children running around my table. I understand the children's behavior is not the restaurants responsibility however I feel that many times when we dine out with our kids we end up in a 'kids section'. Maybe this is something Moksha could consider.

I made a rez at Moksha while waiting for our movie to begin at Lincoln Center, Bellevue. I felt like this restaurant needs to work on food, ambience and table settings. We ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo with plain naan. Chicken tika masala was not what we expected; distasteful and meat was not fully cooked. Lamb vindaloo needs to find a balance between lamb and greenies. There were more veggies than lamb. Naan was not thoroughly cooked. I ordered masala chai and it was plain tea with cream, very disappointing.

A new restaurant can be frightening but Moksha hit it out of the park on every level. When you enter it seems sparse but it's totally opposite. Beautiful design, you feel private yet not excluded at your table, noise level allows for conversation without raising your voice, no clanking plates, machines. Service was wonderful and knowledge of dishes, wine list was flawless. Then the food arrived - fantastic!!! Most enjoyable experience!!!! We plan to go back within the week.

This was our fourth time eating at this restaurant and the standards have dropped significantly over the few months it has been open. The service is now incredibly slow and unreliable (>30 mins for food, extra rice order never arrived one time, and one time a naan order arrived after most of the food had already been eaten), the tables are too close to each other and to add to that the staff often puts couples next to families with loud kids (the acoustics amplify sounds, which doesn't help), despite requests for a quiet table.
