NJ's best Indian restaurant since it opened in 1991 as rated by Zagat, Moghul serves authentic North-Indian & Punjabi food. With a recent renovation, a new bar/wine menu (although you can still bring your own), and the same great food and service, Moghul is the best Oak Tree Road had to offer.… The bi-level space can easily be partitioned off for larger groups. The weekday lunch buffet is priced at $11.50 and the weekend lunch buffet is priced at $13.50, including some favorites from the adjoining Ming Restaurant.Continued

"Went to buffet and what i felt is restaurant is not providing much varities as part of their buffet menu. Very limited and even they dont have an ice cream :)"

"One of the best Indian restaurants in the Edison area that I have frequented for almost 20 years. The dishes never let me down: the Methi Malai Mutter is absolutely the best - try it even if you don't like peas.

Lamb Rogan Josh is delicious, Chicken Biryani perfectly created, and the usual Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Makhani mastered with aplomb. The naan basket never disappoints, and my wife loves their mango lassi.

And now they have a liquor license, which means I can have my Kingfisher beer with my Moghul food when I forget to bring in my own wine!"

"The place is good very well maintenance and has good ambiance. The food is pricey but the main course is usually the best. The starters are expensive and some of the starters need to be revamped completely (for example Paneer Tikka). Bread Basket is very good and my favorite is the Baingan bhartha and Dal Makhani"

"I love Moghul and have loved it for 20+ years. Its consistent and not overly pretentious.

I am so grateful that they've finally added a wine list (although you can still bring your own) and are on OpenTable. Welcome to the 21st century Moghul!

I'll take 1 point off for ambiance because on weekend lunches there can be too many kids.. and I'll take one point off for service because its a bit rushed at times... But still.. the best the area has!"
