The umbrellas provided shade from the hot sun (30C), great service , a wonderful Caprice Salad and a pleasant sauginon blanc. Everyone had a positive dining experience. Food was delicious and the bread basket was definitely a highlight. Only complaint is that there was no valet parking on a Friday evening and underground was closed for parking unless you were a pass holder, so in the rain, people had to park 2-3 blocks away.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMfine dining - hip decorthe portions for the appetizers are quite large so I had too much food when I ordered the beef carpaccio (fantastic with bits of foie gras and arugula salad) for a starter and the grilled scallops for a main dish. No one at the table was unhappy, though, since I shared both plates with everyone. The penne pasta with boar meat ragout was also a solid portion which my colleague enjoyed but couldn't finish. Food was excellent. The food was great and the service was very efficient. It was a business lunch and our waiter timed his visits to the table very well. I have to mention the soup special.
