The Branzino was excellent, the vegitables were fresh, hot and crisp. The veal scallipini was perfectly done. The wine list is very nice and accommodating with some unusual brands as well as classic Italian varieties, the pricing is fair, the corkage is a little on the high side at $18 for this type of restaurant. The regular tables are somewhat small, there was three of us and the table was crowded, with four it would have been very crowded. If you plan on going for dinner after 6:30, reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant isn't large and fills easily with a repeat crowd. It has a romantic, rustic ambience with a very low noise level. You can converse during dinner in a normal tone of voice. It's perfect for dinner for two or larger celebrations. The food is consistently delicious and well prepared, and they always have a few good nightly specials. One nice touch is that they bring either a plate of mushrooms marinated in lemon juice and olive oil, or bruschetta to the table at no charge. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. It was crowded so be sure to make a res. Everything was perfect...the food, the ambiance, the service.
