I had made a reservation about a week in advance for 5 people. The only table available when we arrived precisely on time was a rectangular table in a corner with a booth that went around a corner. The seat of the booth was so deep that you couldn't move the table close enough to yourself to be comfortable, and one person was sitting at the end, also on the booth seat. We asked if the restaurant had pillows to put behind the diners' backs, but they didn't. There was no way to for three of the five of us to be comfortable. Other than that the restaurant was fine. The server was very good, very apologetic about the situation, but there was no other table that would have been available for five people. Dinner service was very good.

This was our first vist to Mondo Mio and what a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was energetic and relaxing at the same time. The recommendations from our server were spot on and the service was outstanding. We will return.

WE are here at least once a week. This restaurant is becomming way too popular. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. At that, the host never came over, I grabbed the menus myself and sat down at two choices of 2-tops. We waited another 10 minutes to be offered water, etc. We were in an uncomfortable traffic area wher the waithelp kept stepping on my purse, knocking my jacket down, no salt, pepper,mushroom plate,kept asking to be serviced, meat came medium, not rare, nobody cared, we couldn't wait to get out of there. Had coffee and desert elsewhere because we couldn't withstand the torture. Too Bad it has come to this.

Being neighbors we really want this restaurant to be good. We had a poor service experience the first time and decided to try again. Had a 7:45 pm reservation that somehow became 8 pm when we got there. Had wine at the bar. Didn't get seated until about 8:45 pm. No waiter came up until we asked and then someone came up, but someone from another table gestured to them and she went over there and never reappeared. The Maitre'D was trying very hard and had his assistant serve us. Finally got orders in but didn't see food until at least 9:15 pm. They keep shoving complimentary chef's mushrooms at us to appease us. I guess this is something they figured out they needed to do regularly. On the plus side they comped us a couple of glasses of wine.
