This was our third favorite restaurant in Breckenridge. It was a beautiful place with very good food. The bar is set pretty high in this town and Modis is much better than anything we have in Tampa or most cities for that matter. If I were to have one complaint it would be that the portions are too large. It doesn't present well when your plate is the size of a serving platter. Food this special should be portioned properly and respected more with a better presentation. At every course we were repelled when the plate came to us with enough food for a family to share. This is fine dining, not a family style restaurant. I would return, and recommend. But, would share each course and skip dessert.

While spending a long weekend in Breckenridge we came across Modis and decided last minute to make a reservation. I'm glad we did! Service was perfect and food was nothing short of delicious.
