It's a relatively new Asian restaurant in Woodbury. The food was really good and the prices weren't that bad. Like any usual Asian restaurant. The ambiance and decor are pretty. I'd come here again.

This is a gorgeous restuarant that was built at great cost. The menu is extensive and ambitious. The rolls are nice but the rest of the food is just OK. The portions are skimpy The service is very slow and unprofessional. The waitress was not well versed in the contents of the menu nor was she accurate in describing dishes when questioned The food runners bring food to the table and ask "who gets this " not knowing what they have in their hands nor who it was intended for. The busboys touch the drinking edge of the water glasses when filling them. The staff is pleasant but totally unaware of how to do a proper job The prices are quite high for what you get

Great space - this is the former Nissen restaurant with high ceilings and a dramatic presence. We had a spectacular witness, Tayla, who put up with our large group's incessant and unrelenting requests with a cheerful smile as she burned off more calories than we ate, running back and forth from table to kitchen to bar. Some of the food was wonderful - the ribs are NOT to be missed; we had a second order for dessert! The down sides: the tempura was doughy, and everything came out of the kitchen at once. We asked them to slow it down, but I think our orders just sat, congealing in the kitchen. Note to self: next time be very specific with the waitress about the pace, otherwise the whole meal could be done in a half hour.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was really outstanding. The noise level was a little bit much. We had a 7:00 reservation and at that time it was not too loud but by the time we left it was a little bit deafening. Having said that, we will definitely go back and we are not big sushi eaters, although the people in our group that were loved it.

Food was good. Wanted to stay for dessert, but the loud, obnoxious foursome seated next to us prevented that! It's a shame when adults behave worse than children! Stay home and be as loud as you want and give the dining public a break! We will not be returning to MoCa unless they change their seating arrangements!

Was there for business dinner on Wed night. On my opentable reservation I had specified that we would be there for important meeting. Our waiter Omid was horrible. Inattentive and unorganized . He made the worst recommendations and was unfamiliar with menu. The kicker was when he bought the dessert menus out and 2 minutes later bought us the check .....without ever asking us if we wanted dessert.

There are many sushi places and only several that have a kitchen that can create interesting dishes that are scrumptous and have visual appeal. Food is an expierence and Moca knows how to appeal to all your senses. The food is interesting as you want it to be or as simple as you desire. Finding that mix is difficult. I think the service is very prompt and the wait staff is very capable of helping you with qustions about the wine of the dishes on the menu. Always very busy make a reservation if you go at nite. .

The restaurant has a great buzz about it - and it's a lot bigger than you'd expect it to be from the outside. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. The tables for 2 are side by side - fortunately the music is just at the right level so you don't get distracted by the conversation of the folks next to you. They have booths for groups of 4+. The kitchen appetizers were good (dumplings) but the sushi was FANTASTIC. I'd go back for the sushi. We had a couple of dishes (scallops/sea bass). The sea bass was great but I could have skipped the scallops. The dessert was another fantastic course - it was like an ice cream Ferrero Roche - wicked! Great looking cocktail list and the bottle of wine we had was very reasonably priced.

Food is average but nice appearance. Convinced no good pad thai exists on LI. need to go into NYC. second time had a bus boy that lifted a dish w/soy sauce off the table in a rush and knew from his attitude it wasn't going to be pretty. Splattered and he didn't care. Only because I jumped and said something did he give me a napkin. No apology. Reflects mediocre service.

The restaurant is truly beautiful. I expected to be wowed by their food, especially considering that their prices are higher than other local and delicious sushi restaurants. We had two major problems. The first is that their Grand Opening menu that they hand out in the front has the food at lower prices than what they actually charged. The second and biggest issue was that the waiter asked us if we would like edamame for the table. It was like asking if we wanted bread. Then they charged us for it! That's really slick and I don't like being tricked by my restaurants. We only had the sushi and the mini vegetable rolls and they were only ok. The rolls were mostly dough with very little filling. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I love this place. It is located in a strip mall with a nice big parking lot. The decor is very nice and the bar area and dinner seating areas are nice. They had a happy hour and the food and drinks seem very reasonably priced. I have never seen such a diverse menu. There is definitely something for everyone. The food was great! I will be back and I hear they have other locations that I hope to visit some day.

This was the 2nd time I have gone to MoCA. The first time was great. Food was delicious, beautiful ambiance, fresh and delicious sushi. Unfortunately, this was not the case on our 2nd visit. Our waitress was not on her "A". Only brought out 2 of our 4 dishes. It took over 20 minutes for the other people at our table to get their food. When they brought them over, the duck was cold. This is an expensive restaurant and we expected better. It took almost a half hour to get our 2nd set of drinks. We complained to the manager and he was genuinely sorry. He blamed his new waitress and explained to us that she might not make it in their restaurant. He also said he was taking 10% off of our bill for our trouble. Bill was $260. Not Toku.

They have a big bar area but they seated us right away and we were hungry so we were happy. The food was delicious and everything came in a timely manner and hot. We were able to hear our conversation with our friends. Def going back again.

My reservation was at 730 and we got there early and sat 20 mins late. Hostess had an attitude... Food was good but why do bus boys have to use a rolling cart to clear the tables???? Although there was no promise to honor seating requests we were very disappointed with our choices even though we had a reservation with a special request . We were told we had a choice between a table next to the noisy bar or an empty private room in the back with no ambience . That it exactly what we said we didn't want having been there before! They did say we could wait for a better table but they had no idea how long that wait would be on a bysyvSat. night . This spoiled our dining experience!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful ambiance. Rich woods, cozy booths and wonderful accents. We ordered a variety of dim sum and gyoza for appetizers which was delivered to our table in suspiciously lightning speed (under 30 seconds). All of it was doughy and had clearly been pre-cooked and then kept warm. Sushi rolls came out about 1 minute later...sushi was very good...what happened to "dining"?! We notice this disturbing trend in many "fine" restaurants as if it's more important to maximize turnover than provide a quality dining experience.....We were in and out of there within 30 minutes. Tip: If you go, order one thing at a time ---never the apps with the main course & shoo the waiter away in between..skip the appetizers!

We were six for lunch. We had an adult,16 year old and a 6 year old who all love sushi and they were very happy with the their choices. Everyone else was very happy with the rest of the menu. The food was excellent and the presentation matched. We were there for lunch and it was not crowded. There was plenty of help and the waiter was very good but somehow our food was slow in coming out of the kitchen. The ambience was excellent with a low to moderate noise level. But this was lunch and the bar was not crowded. The menu pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely go back.

i have been here twice in the past month. The previous restaurant in this space was very nicely appointed so i was very surprise that extensive work was done to create a very esthetically pleasing, upscale experience. the venue is beautiful. the food was excellent. the menu is full of many diverse choices. my only comment is that the bartender (on 2 occasions) was not very accessible. hard to get attention. they need to be more attentive to bar patrons. the wait staff in general is young and not too professional. they also need to be more attentive in checking in with dinners as to whether they need anything.
