First time visit to Milford and I found this gem. The bar scene was not for me but the food was wonderful! I will return when next in Milford!

We had an early dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday. Our waitress was friendly and delightful. She was knowledgeable about the menu and specials and made great suggestions, when asked. She was also very attentive. Each of us enjoyed our meals and shared a wonderful appetizer, the cajun flatbread. Two of us had the appetizer scallops with a small salad as our meal - the blackened scallops with the blending of flavors on top the slaw are killer! The creme brulee is also delicious. Truth is, we have liked everything we have tasted here and will be coming back often.

Food was good but portion was very small. I had the scallops and creme brûlée and was still hungry. No bread served. We sat outside in the back. Table and chairs were fine but the cement floor was a lot to be desired. Owner should install a nice patio floor so it doesn't feel like you are sitting out in the parking lot. Service was great.

My first impression was that this was mainly a bar, with bar food, but it is a step up from that. I thought the menu had some interesting selections that you would not normally see, along with the expected bar foods. I tried the Jambalaya, and I thought it was OK but a little dry, and maybe a little shot on seafood. My wife had fish and chips and it was light and tasty, nicely done. Overall it was a pleasant evening, and we will visit again. There are a number of dishes that I want to try.

In town for work, and enjoyed a pleasant dinner on a quiet Sunday evening. Low-key ambience, and clearly a fun vibe inside by the bar (there are many bar specials), but it was nice sitting outside. Wine and microbrew list are nicely edited. Prices are reasonable and quality of food very good.

There were four of us for dinner on Fiday night. It was a little noisy. The food was quite good! We all had difficulty trying to decide what to order. All enjoyed their meals and we shared dessert. We ate in the upsairs dining room. There's outdoor seating near the street and in the back. The server was very attentive. We'll be going back!

what a nice find. It was a bit of a drive from Hamilton but well worth it. all the food was tasty and attractively presented. The sangria made with a pick champagne (?) that the waitress recommended was great for a summer day. The salmon special was well prepared, including an interesting mix of vegetables. The cheesecake and warm apple tart was just right at the end of the meal. We really enjoyed the entertainment. Just right.

Evidently, there was a banquet there on Wednesday night. Only 3 people working (1 banquet, 1 bar, 1 for everything else). Hence, it was very SLOW even though server was pleasant and trying. I love the Chicken Chili so try that if you go there. Unfortunately, we have mixed experiences with this restaurant. Either it is on or it is way off.

We went for a late dinner on a weeknight when there were only a few people in the restaurant, so I can't comment on noise level or "vibrant bar scene", though it has a nice bar and probably is a lot of fun on weekends. We took our two teenage boys, sat upstairs at a table with sofas all around, and had a wonderful, relaxing meal. The food was all great, and our server was very nice and very helpful. I had the Thai salad with chicken and it was delicious! My husband had the jumbalaya and enjoyed that as well. We are looking forward to going again (without the kids) on a weekend and maybe sitting at one of the outdoor tables or the bar area. We are definitely adding this to our list of new favorite restaurants!

This was our first visit, but won't be our last. We had been hesitant because we had heard the food was good, but pricey. NOT! The food was excellent -- everything the three of us ordered was as good as the next. We started with fried pickles, and I was skeptical because I generally only like fried pickles if they are sliced thin. These were spears and crispy, not soggy like most places. Our daughter (a true foodie) had the mushroom ravioli and loved it. My husband made a meal of soup and variety of appetizers. I had the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries. The salmon was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've had anywhere. We split a piece of the raspberry cheesecake -- AWESOME!

Having never been to MJs before, I made reservations on line which was easy and efficient. Little confusing where to go if you enter from the sidewalk but once seated upstairs everything went great. Our server was informative and nice and the menu has a great selection, hard to decide so many good things on it. I particulary like that you can order a flight of craft beers! Once we ordered, the food came in the rignt amount of time and the food was AWESOME. From the barbecue flatbread to the jambalaya to the lemon pasta to the bison burger, everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor and the prices are such that you can enjoy your meal without worrying about the cost. We will be back to try the other meals that caught my eye.

Great variety on drink and food menu. Lots of healthy options. Our Red, White and Blue Steak Salad was great and the steak was made to order. Our service was a little slow, but a nice change from being herded in and out....made for a relaxing evening. If you go there and are on a time table, I suggest you ask the hostess if then can accommodate and then let your server know.

I went thinking they had a good craft beer selection but only about 6 on tap. The food was good but nothing special. The service was pretty slow but we weren't in a big hurry so that wasn't a real issue. It was okay but I doubt we go back.
