Got in and was immediately seated. I liked the energy of the place and was facing the sushi bar so could see the TV's that are mounted behind the chefs showing the various games that where on. This might bother some people but I liked it. 2 of us had items from the dinner menu and the other couple went for all different sushi menu items. They said the pepper poppers were just OK, but they liked all the other assorted items they ordered. I had the miso black cod and thought it was better than the one I just had recently at Roys in SF. I liked the creativity with the sashimi, we had the a cajun influenced sashimi dish which was awesome. We ate all the rolls which were very well done. The service was prompt and the food came quickly, no awkward waiting. The ambiance was perfect, not too noisy but not too quiet. Good thing we made a reservation because the restaraunt was full.
