Private Party Facilities: We have three Tatami Rooms with the traditional style of seating; each can accommodate 6-8 guests. The rooms can be joined for a total seating of 24 guests. We also offer The Imperial Ballroom, with the Western style of seating and was designed from Kyoto's Nijo Castle. It can seat 100 guests or be partitioned for smaller parties of 8 - 20 guests.

"We had the kaiseki dinner at Miyako. It was the highlight of our vacation. The food was exquisitely prepared and presented, with the use of exotic local items such as the moi grilled fish, as well as traditional items such as the tuna and snapper sashimi. The service was very gracious. We ate on the patio in one of the cabanas, and we were treated to a breath taking view of the Pacific ocean at sunset. Our kaiseki dinner was a remarkable experience, once which we will want to repeat when we are in Hawaii next."

"In fairness to the restaurant, there was a wedding reception going on in the next room while we dined (this restaurant was in a hotel). That made for an experience that was bordering on annoying. Our server was very good in that she literally "babied" us since we were "shabu-shabu" virgins."

"High-class dining experience. Exceptional ambiance, with spectacular sea view and fine service. Highly recommended for special occasion or authentic Japanese food and service. NOT suitable with you are just looking for a typical American style Japanese restaurant. Only for those who appreciate the special aspects of fine Japanese dining."

"A gem in the rough. It has a decor out of the fifty's. It could use some up grading. The menu was traditional Japanese which could also use some updating. That being said, the Tempura was outstanding. Service was quaint with Kimono clad waitresses. (Very pleasant but a little long in the tooth). Overall, I look forward to returning and sampling some of their traditional fare, i.e. shabu shabu or sukiyaki."

"I recommend Kaimana Beach Miyako Restaurant for authentic Japanese cuisine in Honolulu. Excellent sake list. Gracious wait help service like in Japan. Wonderful late afternoon/early evening scenic view. One of the top Japanese cuisine restaurants in Honolulu, always a memorable dining experience."
