"Fantastic view and decor. Food was creative, well-prepared and nicely presented. Service was knowledgeable, without being pretentious. In searching reviews of Las Vegas restaurant with a view, I found most seemed to have poor quality control for food, service or both. Mix appeared to be best of the lot and delivered all that we expected. As my wife commented, it "made you feel like a VIP.""

"Outstanding view of the strip from the top floor of Mandalay Bay. Steak was excellent, my wife got the scallops which weren't cooked as well as she'd liked but she admitted she should have requested when ordering. Price wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, bartender and resturaunt staff were great, friendly. I want to return to check out the lounge another time, as it looks like it's set up for DJ, etc. Had an early dinner this time so didn't get to check it out."

"This was an excellent restaurant for a view of Las Vegas, which is why I rated it high, but the service (other than our particular waiter) was horrendous. The reservation was 30 minutes late, the service people were actually rude, and at those prices you expect Ritz Carlton type service. Our waiter was a gem, and we tipped him accordingly, but I won't go back. I think maybe The Mix is a little full of itself (or at least the people working there are)."

"We dined there on a previous trip to Vegas and had the chef's tasting menu, which was absolutely fabulous. This time it wasn't offered and we ordered off the menu. My only complaint was the Mac & Cheese, which they said they are known for. It's not worth the hype, so unless you have kids at your table, skip this and enjoy something else instead."
