"Old school Japanese restaurant. Portions not huge but thats why it is authentic. Decor is authentic, staff is Japanese speaking, etc. Had the chirashi bowl and soft shell crab for lunch. Pretty fresh and nicely presented. My wife who doesn't eat sushi had the udon and some boneless chicken piece w rice. I felt bad cos her chicken had a lot of fat in it which she is not used to. Bottomline is don't come here for anything else besides sushi. They also have traditional cooked seafood such as the soft shell crab that seem pretty good."

"This was my 1st time here and was not dissappointed. I wanted somewhere where my date could order a wide selection of sushi and I could order something cooked. My date ordered 3 kinds of sushi and the Lobster Explosion. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. I was alittle bummed they only serve wine,sake and Japanese beer (and only Budweiser-which they were out of). I thought I read that they had a full bar. The food was good and the waitress a little slow but very nice. We were having a good conversation and didn't mind. I felt she wasn't trying to bother us too much because the girls across from us were taken care of quickly.

Overall it was a nice experience and would go back again. My date is a big sushi guy and said it was a good choice."

"The food is very good here, and your typical Japanese dishes. However, as most other reviews have said, it is very pricey. You get the same food you would at other Japanese restaurants, only at about twice the cost."

"We have been wanting to go to this place for a while since It is close to where we live. The place is very nicely decorated the staff is nice but apparently very few. the ambiance was a bit loud to be Valentine's day for my taste, but I think that was just a group of loud people that made that possible. Our food took about an hour to arrive, even though we ordered Sushi. We didn't order much because of that same reason but paid the same as when we treat ourselves with beers and Sushi at a place like matsu. I hope this was an odd service and that any other day, service runs smooth; but I doubt I will come back soon to try again."
