We were all extremely pleased with every aspect of the evening! The special room that was provided for us was terrific, the food was amazing, and the wait staff was friendly, attentive and extremely professional. They made sure that everything was "PERFECT" for my dear friend. She was happy and her special day was made even more special by the wonderful experience she had at Mitchell's Steakhouse!!! When we were here before i was a little disappointed in the service as it did not meet my expectations for a place like this. If you are gonna spend on the high side for dining, I expect the service to be without question. This time was much better as our waitress was much more attentive but still there were times we needed things and she was no where to be found. I had the salmon, it was cooked perfectly, and I loved the harvest salad. My GF had the Gorgonzola Rib-eye and it also was cooked perfectly and she was very pleased. My Wife and I have come to the restaurant for several special occasions. The staff was friendly and courteous and for the most part attentive. The food was very good and the ambiance was very nice. I was a little disappointed in our waiter as he seemed a bit phoney and did not attend to us as much as I thought he should. Several times we had to call on other wait staff.

My only complaint, which isn't all that serious, was the fact that I had made my reservations two weeks in advance and requested a table by the fireplace. I was informed that it was not available as they were experiencing numerous large parties that day, since it was Mother's day, and the room that the fireplace is in is where the large parties are seated.
I was, however, given a very nice table, and the manager on duty saw to it that my girlfriend and I were taken care of. He provided us with complimentary appetizers, and our first round of drinks were on the house as well.
Our server, Bre', was an excellent server. We wanted for nothing during our visit.

Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. We went for Mother's Day and they presented the mothers with roses and a $25 gift coupon. The had it set up so that our large group would be in a private room. The complimentary valet was perfect for my parents and grandparents. After eating such a great meal, we opted to end our evening beside the outdoor fireplace with an after dinner drink, instead of deserts.
When we were finished dining, the bartender called our pre-arranged transportation for us.

I always start with the lobster bisque (one of the best in Columbus). I also ordered the petite filet and it came up to my expectation, perfectly seasoned, nice and crusty on the outside, and medium-rare inside. The side of buttered asparagus was excellent as well, crisp-tender and tasted so fresh that you would think they were harvested the same day. My husband's entree, the pan roasted Gerber chicken looked so delicious that I traded a piece of my filet for a bite of his chicken. The chicken skin was perfectly crisp and the meat was tender and juicy. Everything was just perfect, truly great service from our waiter, Matt.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways good... Incredible Steak!My fourth visit to this establishment was no different than any prior visits - the food and service are always first class! The hostesses were really professional and pleasant, the steak is always top-notch, starters and salads are excellent too. It was pretty busy the Saturday night we dined, so I believe this had a bit to do with a bit-slow service, but otherwise perfect. We wanted to gather family for a special occassion so we made a reservation. We asked for a quiet table and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a beautiful private room. The room was superb, our service was impeccable, the food was fantastic, and our gathering was enjoyed by all.
Kudos to the chef for the excellent Calimari presentation, and the entrees were done to perfection.
