They have recently redecorated and have changed the menu. All the good seafood choices are still offered. A preset menu is also available for dinner. Noise level seems to have increased with the decor changes. There is extensive outdoor eating on the wrap-around patio. We arrived on a busy Saturday evening. They found our reservation but did not see our requests for a certain area of the restaurant. They did change us when asked. Our service was adequate but not attentive as we had to ask for refills on water. I initially decided to try the Lobster bisque but, decided it wasn't my favorite. Our waiter then went to bring out some of the clam chowder which he didn't have to do. It was the best Clam chowder I have tasted, the soup was creamy and rich. The Entree's both myself and my boyfriend ordered were exceptional. So much flavor and the portions were the perfect size. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I cannot wait for us to go again. Our waiter was very knowledgeable with the entire menu. From the planning with your staff to the actual meal, once the decision was made, we relaxed and enjoyed the experience.

Where else to go for our 46th anniversary than to Mitchell's? The food (the Trio and the Ribeye) were delicious.
We are already anticipating out next outing to Mitchell's with friends next week.

We selected Mitchell's for Easter and had a great experience. They offered a traditional Easter dinner or you could order off their daily menu. We all chose to order from the regular menu and one guest asked if they could prepare a large grilled chicken salad since only house salads were offered on the menu, they were happy to accommodate his request. I chose scallops and asked for double seasonal veggies, passing on the sticky rice. They were phenomenal! Two other guests ordered seared tuna and both loved it ~ my nephew is an avid ocean fisherman so his expectations are always very high, he cleaned his plate. Our server, Roy, was busy but he was taking time with each table and did a great job. The restaurant has been redecorated since our last visit, the patterns on the walls and the upholstery compliment each other nicely. The new artwork is attractive. Each course was served at relaxed intervals, giving time to talk while enjoying the food without being rushed. Portions were plentiful leaving enough to take home for later. Having moved here only two months ago, I've now dined there four times. It's become my "go to" place for both out-of-town guests as well as more romantic pursuits. Excellent service is always coupled with outstanding food. Booths are preferable to tables, so make reservations. I only recently found out that Mitchell's was owned by Ruth's Chris which explains why the steaks there are so good. Attention to detail, special service, and amazing food are a must. Mitchell's hit lunch out of the park. I don't recall the server's name, but he impressed me with his knowledge of the menu, ability to state specifically what he liked about the different preparations (for the fish), and the process. The plating was very nice and clean, but the Sea Bass (prepared Shang Hai) was simply amazing. The timing was spot on. We had a lengthy discussion about deserts, settling on the chocolate cake. Which might have been the only downfall. It wasn't anything special, just chocolate cake. Our server did recommend other deserts.
