The baked parmesan oysters were a great option for an appetizer. The service was excellent. We were seated in the bar area which was a little noisy by kitchen. It wasn't a problem though. "

  • "We've been to MFM several times, but this visit fell far short of our expectations. We arrived early--no one else in the restaurant and service was extremely slow. It took nearly an hour from order to entrees served. The server told us our choices for dessert including one was Shark's Fin Pie. We had to ask him what that was before he explained it, an still the name didn't make sense until it was served--a tall ice cream pie cut like a shark's fin. Our fish and chips were heavily battered and greasy. The steak skewers were over cooked. Based on this visit we won't be going back. At $$$ it wasn't worth it."

I could sit at the bar anytime. After I objected, the hostess accommodated us and moved us. Our server was curt. Here's a conversation: Me: My wife doesn't drink alcohol, do you have any suggestions? Server: Pepsi products Me; Don't you have any non-alcoholic specialty bar drinks you can recommend? Server: Its a full service bar, then can make anything you want I ordered the three course meal which included dessert. I ordered dessert up front. Twice, after the meal the server wanted to know if we wanted dessert. The food was very good."

It was not the valentines dinner we The good was ok but was slow to get to the table. The waiter was apologetic. They were out of the appetizer we chose, so we had to choose another. I'm thinking we should try it on another night other than valentines day. Maybe it will be better."

  • "I've visited Mitchell's in Tampa and Indianapolis before. This one was my most disappointing visit, but it could be the result of the busy valentines day crowd. My server Mike seemed fatigued, and the rest of the staff also appeared a bit disoriented. I requested fresh ground pepper for the butter and imagine my surprise when out of the kitchen comes red pepper and Cheyenne peppers. They struggled to keep water glasses full and request for additional items took much longer than usual. My reservation was for 1015p, so much of the crowd had dissipated. The staff just look beat."

  • "I made this reservation for valentines day without knowing much about the place. I was pleased when I called earlier that week to know that they were not doing a limited menu. We arrived early and waited at the bar. We were sat before our reservation and the host came over to greet us; they did not rely on a buzzer which Was very nice. Our server was perfect- humorous & experienced! He was extremely prompt with everything! Our food was delicious! I had steak & my fiancé had sea bass- both great choices! The ceviche starter was yummy but A little too spicy for me. Overall, great time!! I can't wait to go back!"
