We all love seafood and checked out the menu online ahead of time. There was something for everyone and the prices were reasonable! When we got to our table and started to look over our menu, we ended up with the dinner menu instead of the lunch menu(prices were higher, making it less affordable)....we were disappointed that it was not indicated on their website that there would be a different menu for the day. There was only a 10-15 minute wait with a reservation, but the experience was well the wait. I had the cod with lobster and crab stuffing. My wife had the cedar planked salmon. Both dishes were very fresh, good proportions, and perfected prepared. The service was very attentive and spot on. The recommended red and white wines were crisp and refreshing. Sharon was our server: her professionalism was to be admired. She had a perfect balance on timing and delivery. It was a wonderful, dining experience. i can't wait to go back! If there was anything on the down side, it would have to be that our table was crammed into a spot between the fish case and another table. My husband and I met North Carolina friends for lunch, and as we entered the restaurant we were very impressed by the elegant decor. Then we received excellent service and a four delicious meals. Since we had not seen our friends for a very long time, we were allowed to sit, drink coffee and chat for an extremely long time without being disturbed. That was certainly a treat for us. The wine list does need some improvement since we prefer French and Italian, but the food was very good. My husband got a lobster special which was great and I had the fish trio which also was very tasty and gave me a chance to sample 3 different seafoods. When I first got my food it was lukewarm so had to send it back, but once it was warmed up it was perfect. What really impressed us the most was the manager came by our table to apologize for my meal having to be sent back and offered to remove it from our bill. We said no way, but he insisted. When we arrived there were many families waiting to be seated, so we were pleased when they sat us right away. There were at least 5 items on the menu that my wife and I each wanted to try. We started with the calamari and I must say it was one of the most original recpis we ever have had, served with green beans, red peppers and hoisin sauce. We also had ordered a salad to share but at this point we were getting full and we wanted to have room for our entree selections, so we asked our waiter if we could cancel our salad selection and he said that would be "no problem". We ended with shrimp scampi and a seafood sampler done hang shai style.
