Once was got seated, the Pinefin set the relaxation mode into gear. The food was really good but paying all the extra $$$ for a teeny lobster tail was a bit disappointing. It was my 65th birthday and all I wanted was a good lobster meal. The shrimp cake was good but non-descript. I wasn't even sure what it was. I should have sent the lobster back to heat up more but usually refrain from doing so unless the whole meal is cold.
Everything else was delicious! I love Mitchell's and will continue to dine there on special occasions as well as the wonderful Happy Hour venues, specials and food.

Delicious!Loved the pecan-crusted mountain trout! My waitress highly recommended the crab artichoke appetizer and both my father and I thought it was fabulous. I almost didn't need dinner after the appetizer! My husband and I have been to Mitchell's several times in the past and enjoyed the atmosphere. We love the location in the South Hills. It seems to be a bit more pricey than other fresh fish restaurants in the area (Bonefish Grill, Capstone Grill.) I have heard that people are impressed by Mitchell's enormous carrot cake. However, I'm not a fan of carrot cake and have not found other desserts that I enjoy at Mitchell's.
