Charbroiled oysters, not so much--they were under cooked and covered with a thick layer of gummy cheese overpowering the oysters. Despite being a signature dish, the Shanghai sampler included good, well cooked seafood, but nothing special; essentially sautéed fish, scallops and shrimp in a slightly sweet soy sauce. The atmosphere was relaxed. The staff service was excellent. Our waiter was extremely attentive yet not intrusive. We ordered the seafood sampler and the Chilean Sea Bass, both prepared Shang Hai style. Both dishes were tasty - the seafood was fresh and the preparation was wonderful. My son enjoyed his children's meal as well.
