We got there early, around 5:30, because they are always busy. This evening they had several large groups dining, so it was packed, busy and a bit noisy. Our food was still great, and the service was still attentive, even with all the bustle. Was a bit hot and sunny outside where we dined and near a small play area, obviously not necessarily the fault of the restaurant. We only walked through the interior, but what we did see was very nicely done, mostly wood. It reminded us of Shaw's back home in Chicago, especially since Monday is oyster night. Guest dress was a bit more casual than we expected, but we didn't feel out of place with nice jeans, a nice shirt and nice shoes. We would definitely recommend it to anyone in the Louisville or Prospect areas looking for surf & turf at fairly reasonable prices, at least to Chicagoans. I mentioned that I loved king crab legs, but didn't want to fight them that evening, as we had plans to attend the theater afterwards. Our waiter said he would have the chef split them as to make them easier to manage. They were absolutely delicious. My husband had the tuna steak seared; it was melt in your mouth good. The sides included fresh asparagus and braised small potatoes; they were cooked perfectly. I have never seen a dessert as large as the one my husband and I shared; it too was tremendous. The seafood is as good as what we buy fresh when visiting the coast. EXCELLENT MEAL!!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDinnerFamily of four and a baby celebrating my birthday (I am the mom and grandmother) Glad they seated us in a back corner as we had a busy 18 month old active baby, who needless to say, threw a couple small temper tantrums. Luckily we could let her down and she didn't disturb other people. The noise level is so high in there, I don't think many people noticed. It was fun, the food was good, two of us had lobster, I had steamed tilapia with sticky rice and spinach and it was delicious. Wanted to eat out
side but it started to rain. Sad to learn that you no longer carried that big slice of Italian Cream Cake. The waitress said she had been there a year and she had never heard of it. They were out of the wine we had chosen, but they had a good wine list to choose from, so we just chose a different one. The halibut Shang hi style and the Cedar plank Salmon was just amazing and piping hot. The meal was really, really good. They have a decent (if over-priced) wine list, and drinks are moderately expensive (and small). By 5:30 PM, they dim the lights to the point where you can barely see your food, and the piped-in music ranges from annoying to abrasive.
