I anticiapted that we would have to wait. We arrived a little before our reservation time and was taken right in. The service and food was good. The noise rating above is not accurate, it s very noisy and loud in the restaurant. There were 2 large groups which added to the noise level. Most of the food was excellent, the Gumbo was awful, it had a very fishy taste and nothing else, like key ingredients were missing it had NO taste at all except fish. We heeded to read the dessert menu better because Authentic Irish coffee does not contain Baileys, it just contains Irish whiskey and very little of it.

My mother's and my food were cold and had to be sent back. We received replacement meals quickly and our server, the head server and the manager all came over (at different times) to be sure our food was to our liking. My smashed potatoes were luke warm, but I chose not to send them back. We will return to the restaurant and if we have another poor experience we will not be back.

This seems to be a very high number to me. In addition, if a person gives $3 tip to valet, then he owes Mitchell's $1; that doesn't seem fair. Even if the average tip is $5, the valet guy is only making $1 per car parked. That seems way to low to earn a living. I suggest that Mitchell's expect to receive nothing and consider valet as a service to their customers only.

The chef insisted on preparing a new one. It also came out undercooked. They took it back and put it on the grill (or in the microwave) it came back perfect. Because of the problem I had with my dinner the manager took the price of it off the bill. Very impressive!! Had the fresh Halibut which was incredible. Wife had Tropical Tilapia with garlic sauce was Amazing!
Son had Lobster Tail with Crab/Lobster cakes was perfect. Daughter had the shrimp Scampi with Pasta was delicious.
We drove 40 miles for this dining experience and we were so pleased with everything!
It was VERY busy and the food was out within 20 min. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgable with the menu.

The meal was outstanding. GR8 looking fresh fish (which we were told is delivered daily) is displayed for diners and looked very appetizing. The server was knowledgeable about the various types of fish and explained the preparations well. I chose the King Salmon from New Zealand, which was delicious; I eat salmon regularly and the taste was wonderful. I also tried their fish gumbo, which was very tasty (on the spicy side) and full of several varieties of fish. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was very busy, so the noise level was high, but we still were able to converse. Really good selection of wines. My husband ordered the 7 layer carrot cake and it was HUGE! He loved every bite. We did not feel rushed although we visited on a Tuesday night and all the tables were not filled. As we have experienced in previous visits, the noise level is rather high and it is sometimes hard to carry on a conversation. The service was very good. Our server (I think Eric) was great, he explained everything on the menu, talked with us and took good care of us. The food was FANTASTIC (pecan whitefish, lobster, oysters and mussels).
