Delicious pasta with crab. Just
wish they would take tails off shrimp!"

I love this place for a good
weekend spot for my husband and myself. The pasta dishes are delicious and the ambiance is unassuming, yet inviting. It's nice to dine in a restaurant that doesn't have the wait staff sweeping the floors underneath your feet. It has the feel of a fine dining restaurant without the stuffiness or high prices."

Took my girlfriend to Mirkos pasta
for valentines day. When we arrived they were not serving their normal menu, but a valentines day special. The menu wasnt advertised on open table, and was kind of surprising when we arrived. The cost was $55/ plate, which was well worth it, but not expected. That being said it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. A full 7 course gourmet meal with a glass of champagne and a bottle of wine included. My date and I were blown away by how good the food was, and the great service. Definitely recommended for a special occasion."

Two of us ate here for $35
including a beer each. Very creative menu where you build your own pasta dish. I had the seafood pasta and was stuffed when the dinner was over, we had no dessert. Very large portions, took home some of our dinner. Very friendly and fast service. The restaurant is small so my guess is that on a Friday or Saturday night reservations would be advisable. One note: Restaurant is not visible from Johnson's Ferry Road and so we had trouble finding it in the shopping center."

Had no idea what to expect. Great
food, really good service. Very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely go back!"

We were not aware that the
restaurant was in the area, but went with a friend and were very pleased with the food and service. Maybe they should advertise a bit. We had left overs for lunch today and they were really good. We'll be back."

This was a neighborhood gem, but
customer service has dropped considerably. Not worth it anymore. Young inexperienced servers with attitude and no idea how to treat customer. Could not even get silverware on table, after three requests. Lot of attitude, better going somewhere else where the customer is serviced. Ciao, gem no more!"

This place is a steal for homemade
pasta and fresh sauces. The portions for dinner resulted in leftovers for lunch. The service and management were very friendly, and attentive in a very laid back environment. Specials offered on certain nights for kids, and wine specials, and other specials on others. Bought gift card for inlaws. Reviews speak for themselves."

We went to Mirko for New Years Eve
dinner with some friends. The food was excellent. The server and service was excellent. He gave us varous recommendations to mix pasta with different sauces, which all came out great. This was only our 2nd time dining at this restaurant but we'll certainly be back."
Dined on 12/31/2013
Interesting concept - mix their
pasta and sauces for what you exactly want. The food is fine, nothing exceptional. For the price, it is worth a shot."

The butternut squash ravioli with
Norma sauce is a favorite! Yummy food and really great service!"
Dined on 11/14/2013
Mirko's is a nice small restaurant
with a limited menu but a good value for what you get. Our salmon was excellent and the house pino is good. Fresh food, good service and a nice neighborhood feel."

Our family now has "Mirko Monday"
-- both for the wine deal (pay for a glass, get a bottle) and the really good food and service."

Love this place. We got to speak
to the manager for a while Friday night, and was so impressed, we want them to cater an event we have coming up"
Dined on 9/14/2013
1st the hostess told us upon
arriving that they do not take reservations 90minutes prior to seating, however the reservation was still available online. 2nd services was horrible. Our server did not bring our food and never came to check to make sure everything was good (which it wasn't) drinks never got refilled either. She did bring the check and offered dessert. 3rd the food was the worst "fake" Italian I've ever had. The chicken I ordered was like old shoe leather. The sausage was worse. I've never seen sausage come in that form before. None of their products were fresh or made in house. There is no way I would ever recommend this place to anyone and will never return."

Great service and good food. The
butternut squash pasta is a favorite!!!"

Went here for dinner at 6. Already
crowded, which slowed down the service, and very noisy! Just to talk across the table is difficult. Nothing fancy or pretty and very obviously a place for family, especially if the kids like pasta. Started the meal with a Caprese salad that was good, wish the tomato had more flavor and riper. The stuffed ravioli was good but, a little over done in the fryer and the interior was not moist. The 4 of us had different pastas. My taglieteli with clam sauce (white) lacked much clam flavor - a dozen mini-clams but the flavor wasn't there. The taglietteli was wonderful, cooked just right, al dente. My wife's ravioli OTOH, the butternut squash filling was dry and pasty. The other 2 dishes were very good."
Dined on 8/17/2013
The meal was awesome no complaints
there. Complaint is they were grossly understaffed and the staff they did have was not thoroughly knowledgeable. They need more training."
Dined on 8/17/2013
What I like about Mirko is the
selection of pastas, sauces and meats. I can always order the exact dish I want. The pasta is egg based so the noodles are rich."
Dined on 8/11/2013
I have eaten at Mirko a number of
times. As always the food was really good and the service outstanding. The noise made it difficult to talk to the person sitting across the table from you. As I said I've eaten here before but never has it been that LOUD."
Dined on 7/24/2013
The variety and freshness of the
pasta options make this a great neighbor place to eat. Build your own plate choosing pasta and sauce gives diners many options. And the servers were outstanding."
Dined on 7/6/2013
Fun way to eat by choosing what
pasta and what sauce but found there wasn't a lot of flavor/herbs"
Dined on 7/6/2013
We tried Mirko Pasta on the
recommendation of friends who really like it. We started with the mussels which were quite small but tasty with the lemon preparation. I had spinach and cheese ravioli with the Norma sauce that included eggplant. It was flavorful and filling. My husband had fettuccine with meatballs (came out without the meatballs and had to remind the server). This dish was just fair. We also had to ask for bread, but our waitress was attentive and pleasant. If we were in the area again and felt like a quick Italian meal, we'd stop in for a second try. However, there are a lot of options closer to us that we'd prefer."

Love this place -- pick your pasta
and sauce -- all homemade and delicious. Service very attentive and they even treated us to a free tiramasu (out of this world) since it was our first time dining there. Great marketing guys! We'll definitely be back. ;)"

Surprisingly busy fora Monday
night. It took better than 10 minutes for our server to even come to our table to take any orders. We ordered our food and I asked for a glass of house red wine. The waiter brought the wine in champagne glass & said that it was wine night and they were out of wine glasses and that was why the place was so packed on Monday. You buy a glass of wine and you get a whole bottle, but our server didn't bother to tell me this even when I ordered a glass because house wine was excluded. I wish he had told me this ahead of time. So, I ordered another glass to get the bottle and share with my wife but ended up paying for the house wine also. And I asked for a beer glass for my house wine instead of the champagne flute."

This is my second time at this
Mirko and I recalled it as being a little more on the pricey side but this time, instead of making up own pasta, I read the menu a little better and they have some great classics. My husband did not like his lasagne but the other two entrees we had at our table were excellent as was the friendly service"

We've been going here for awhile
on Monday nights for their awesome wine special. Usually it is semi loud, the service is good and the food is nicely done. This trip started out with them losing my reservation for six. They were out of three of the beers we ordered. They ran out of egg pasta. My pasta was way overdone. I'm not sure what happened but combined with the super noisy atmosphere and our server, who was clearly in over her head, it wasn't our best trip. While I still recommend it for the wine special, I'm not as enthusiastic as I was."

Ambiance: Indoors was quite loud,
so we opted to dine outside, especially since it was such a beautiful day. However the dining patio is next to a busy thoroughfare of a mall parking lot. Harleys with loud pipes, a couple of muscle cars and large diesel trucks -- not to mention REALLY gusty winds made it a little less than desirable."

Mirko has some of the best Italian
food in the area. We love the fresh bread and dip brought out as you sit down. The Caprese salad is good; the mozzarella is fresh. If it had a little balsamic vinegar, it would be perfect. The parmesan chicken is fantastic. It comes with a little pasta that has a sauce with a little bite. The chicken is cooked perfectly and has generous amounts of cheese."
Dined on 5/12/2013
Mirko is Solid - both locations I
have tried . . Frequent the Buckhead location and like this one in Marietta as well. Great specials and lunches - I brought newbies this time and they will be back as well so you have some new customers! *getr the sausage, sage and apple ravioli - it is excellent!"

We will definitely return and take friends there."

Had a reservation at 8pm.
Immediately seated at table outdoor. Friendly servers. Good pricing, selection and quality of food."

I had the Chicken Parmesan lunch
special. The sauce on the tagliatelle had quite a bite to it. The chicken itself was marvelous and I could eat it every day of the week. My wife enjoyed her ravioli. The pasta here has always been excellent. Though far from crowded during our lunch visit, the servers seemed to be behind like I would expect if they were slammed. They were pleasant, but a little behind on drink refills and such."
Dined on 4/15/2013
Risotto was undercooked for our
taste. It was more crunchy than fluffy. Scallops were bay, instead of sea, but for the price... understandable. We were gratefully encouraged to change our entrees. I chose my regular, which is always perfect... squash ravioli with fungi sauce. Service was excellent as always. Tuscan stew & tilapia were great as always."
Dined on 4/9/2013
We always enjoy Mirko. The pasta
and sauces are always very good. The sorbet in it's own skin is a nice way to finish. The staff is always helpful."

We recommended Mirkos to our
friends and went this past Sat night. My husband & I were at the Mirko's on Woodstock Rd (not realizing there was a Mirkos right near us at Merchant Walk). My husband especially enjoyed the gluten free pasta...not many restaurants offer GF pasta. Our friends really enjoyed their dinners, thought the food was very good. We all had a very good experience and look forward to going back."

This is the first time we've dined
at this restaurant and our family eats out for dinner 2-3x/week. We wanted to give it a try since we've never been to Mirko Pasta. We were excited to try it since the owner is from Athens. However, we had a bad experience & probably won't go back. To start, the hostess was rude, our waiter had to be flagged down anytime we needed anything, ordered salads then main entree, salad came out 20 min later then within a couple of minutes our entrees came out. Not to mention the kids meals came out before we got our salads. Food was just okay! We'll stick to other East Cobb Italian restaurants."
