Mio - an Italian TrattoriaHighly recommended! If you love Italian food, you will love Mio"s. Open nine months, it's packed every time we've been there. People know good food when they get it. Notable menu items: the customary bread (more like a focaccia, but is a white bread cut into wedges, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle) with oil and roasted tomatoes dipping sauce, house salad with lemon vinaigrette dressing, lasagne al forno with its layer of pancetta, linguine alla pescatore (for shellfish lovers), rigatoni alla matriciana. And order a coffee which served with it is a luscious to-die-for sugar/shortbread cookie made by the chef's wife. The chef makes rounds and is very friendly and helpful. Great service. Wine list: all Italian wines. Gluten free pasta upon request.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMooo.ooo.goodVery friendly and helpful staff. The wine list is exceptional, the bruscetta, delicious..
GO there..5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place! We really enjoyed our first evening at Mio. There were six of us, each ordering a different dish. Each dish was delicious! Service was very good. I always like it when the owner/manager comes to the table and asks about the food. We will definitely return.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGood FoodYou can tell there is a lot of good vibes with all of the staff.. All are very friendly and very accommodating. Great Food. We'll definitelly be back.
Some of the tables are really close so be prepared to know your neighbor!!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLove MioI love everything about Mio! The food is fabulous and the service is wonderful. I've been there with my husband, girlfriends and children. Each time the service and meal was perfect. There are a variety of dishes from which to choose and the presentation is well done. The atmosphere is very nice but stuffy. I've taken my middle school kids there for dinner a couple of times and they love it too. While I've seen many children in the restaurant, it's not overrun with kids. Kids are made to feel welcome and not tucked away in a corner.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMSome of the finest ItalianSome of the finest Italian food I’ve ever eaten. The Lasagna opened a whole new world for me; the desserts are fabulous; but the best may bee the flat bread with the sundries tomato olive oil at the beginning of the meal! Make this your next stop for dinner — do not pass go!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is always excellent andFood is always excellent and you can always expect a very warm welcome. This time, though, I convinced her to try something new, and Mio proved a perfect choice.
Food was outstanding, with some lighter, yet very flavorful choices on the menu. Just as important, though, service was top of the line. Very competent and attentive wait staff.
I will be returning every time I come back to visit from North Carolina.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to meet friendsLooking for a place close by? Try Mio Trattoria. You will receive a warm welcome and great service. The mussels are outstanding. The pasta selections great. And lunch salads large. Make sure to try the tiramisu and flour less chocolate tort.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWine Wednesday !!Don't miss WW..

Our waiter was outstanding.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant provided anThe restaurant provided an extremely friendly atmosphere that made us feel like we were old friends. The wine list offered all Italian wines and was cleverly divided into three pricing categories: $25, $45 & $100.00 per bottle. The Sommelier was very helpful when selecting a wine.
