  • "Mint is has become one of my favorite restaurants and offers a unique and refreshing take on Indian food. All dishes are expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. The wait staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about all offerings. On a recent visit, our waiter was extremely helpful in making both appetizer and entre recommendations that were outstanding. "

  • "I went to Mint with a friend on Thursday night for her birthday. We ordered Indian food. It was very good but everything was ala cart. So I feel this place is toopricey for what you get.!!"

  • "We have a weekly lunch and decided on Indian for a change. Mint was one of a few local choices and we are happy we went there. Due to the size of our group, 9, we decided on the buffet. The variety of choices were great and satisfied those who were looking for lighter fare as well as heartier dishes. There was a good mix of meat and vegetables and plenty of Nan to go with all the items. The spice was moderate to strong but in the very good Indian cuisine way. Enjoy this place when you can."

  • "The food remains very good, but the service has deteriorated significantly, at least on this visit. 3 out of 4 glasses were not clean and had to be returned. The rest rooms likewise were very unpleasant."

  • "I wanted to take my wife to a different restaurant and found this gem. As I entered, the ambience was very chic...we were approached by the hostess who quickly ushered us our table where we were served by Don. He was by far one of the best waiters I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Look for him if you go here. The manager also approached us and was also very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Mint. Want to go back to see their Saturday evening after hours crowd. Try the large ocean tini you will love it."

  • "The decor was appealing. The service was above average. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good. Serving sizes were a little smaller than expected."

  • "It wasnt what I thought it would be. From the outside it looked like an upsacle eating estiblishment, but when you walked in it was a little run down for the prices they are asking. the servers were not very friendly, didnt come to refill drink and I was the only one in the resturant. It was a nice experience, but I will not return nor recommend."

  • "Loved the delicate Indian spices, the flavors, the sauces and the culinary experience of Mint. Can't wait to brunch here again. : )"

  • "The decor was awesome, the atmosphere was great and the good was delish. My only issue was that the server did not know who ordered what. He actually started to give it to the table netbo us then asked them if they was sure it wasn't theirs. That started a round of jokes with the next table. lovely couple. Other than that everything was good."

  • "I was celebrating my bday and had a group of 9 this past weekend so I decided to go of Mint. My reservation was for 7:30 and our table was waiting for us. We were all seated and didn't get any menus. So we waited about 15 minutes before we said something. When we got menus, they only gave us 4 and told us to share; very odd! Then the water guy comes and we get water for the table. We are sitting there again for about 30 minutes and not a soul came by to take our order. We even asked if a waiter can come by, and they told us he was coming. Because it was my bday and I brought all my friends, it was totally embarrassing. So we all decided to walk out! This has never happened to me and we all for sure won't be going back to Mint!"

  • "We thought the food was outstanding ! When we arrived at 630 the restaurant was empty we were greeted very nicely by the Hostess She took us to a table right near the kitchen is was a big turn off to us especially when the restaurant was not full 1st mistake bad move for the Hostess. The waiter was very sweet but may have been new and didn't know small details about the food 2nd mistake. So the 3rd went to the Ladies room not good as your walking there if there is a man in the Mens room you can see a nice view of the urinal not good Usually 3 strikes your out but not in this case We LOVED the food"

  • "I will never go back! They were having one year old birthday party downstairs on a Saturday night and it seemed like they rest of the patrons in this establishment were ignored. The food was mediocre and over cooked except for my side of vegetables that seemed to come from Costco and were still frozen on my plate!"

  • "The food was over priced for what you got. The service was horrendous. And I fell outside the restaurant do to poor up keep. Definitely would not return nor recommend."

  • "We have dined here many times and the experience is always fantastic. This time though they had 2 private parties going on and limited seating for dinner guests. Despite reservations, We waited for at least 30 minutes (we were quoted 10) when I finally spoke to the owner. He was very apologetic and I think he actually asked a couple to leave (they were done and just nursing their cocktails) We were seated within 5 minutes and he immediately brought fries (on the house) for the children to nibble on while we decided our order. The club like atmosphere complete with bouncers hired for the private party going on in the main dining room and loud hip hop music was not conducive to a nice indo/thai family dinner. Will call ahead next time."

  • "Probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. Service is non-existent except for their poor attitudes, they like to show that off. Try to be a restaurant and do that well first before you start exploring the clubbing world."

  • "Bill was overcharged $13.00 per couple when divided in half. Finally, almost corrected. Don't go, good food is not enough."

  • "Took my grown daughters out for our traditional Jewish Christmas dinner. Had a drink and appetizers at the bar. The cocktail menu had creative drinks that were delicious. The dinner was wonderful and we made it the the movie with time to spare."

  • "The food was amazing. Our waiter Sony (sorry if not spelled correctly that is how he told us to pronounce it) was very patient and attentive. Loved everything about the restaurant. The bar tender was also AWESOME."

  • "I didn't like the lighting in the place. Although it was dimly lit, it was not a romantic dim but rather an annoying fade to the point where i couldn't see what my food really looked like. The place had a cold feeling to it, was not warm & inviting. Food was decent."

  • "I went with some friends here, it was a little pricey for me. But we ended up sharing entrees, it all tasted so delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to people who like an interesting mix of Indian and Asian food."

  • "We were sat in the bar area which seemed to be the only section they were sitting customers at. These tables for dinner are not optimal but acceptable. There was a large screen TV playing Sponge Bob and we asked the waiter if he could turn it off. He did. The music was not appropriate for dinner. It was loud electronic house music. Needless to say the atmosphere was not great. As for the food and service, this is the reason that will bring us back here. We were very impressed. We had the lamb vindaloo with jasmine rice. A must have! For appetizers, we had crispy cauliflower and a tomato, cucumber and feta salad. The garlic bread was magnificent. Really tasty. Waiters were accomodating and attentive."

  • "Our third time there and not a disappointment in sight. Nestled in the south west corner of the Roosevelt Field parking lot, Mint is (I think) an Asian fusion restaurant with Indian, Chinese and Thai dishes. No matter which cuisine you choose you will enjoy the abundance of flavor each dish has to offer. Each dish is meant to be shared and can be accompanied with one of many side dishes. Their naan bread is very good although we will stick with the plain naan. The garlic naan can be a bit overwhelming. The restaurant is decorated as well as any Manhattan night spot however they frequently have large parties which limits the available seating for casual diners. The wait staff is very attentive without being obtrusive."

  • "I went to this restaurant for a night out with my husband. The menu variety was great because you can choose dishes that indian, Thai, Chinese, vegetarian, etc. They also had a great drink menu to choose from. For an appetizer we ordered the crispy chili cauliflower which i could have ate all day long! Then for dinner we got Goat Curry, Shrimp Malabaar, Jasmine Rice and Garlic Naan. Everything we ate was delicious! I can't wait to go back and eat again."

  • "I love the food except the dining room is cutoff in half when a party is going on that gives u a claustrophobic feeling and less attentive service."
