Milton's Cuisine and CocktailsFun eveningIt is wonderful when children become adults and are old enough to enjoy not only going our to dinner, but also enjoying the food. Everything we had was well prepared and well presented. Two trout dinners, one grilled chicken, one fried chicken, and one pork something.
The sauces were really the strong suits. Andoullie sausage gravy is over the top.
On the not so wonderful side, one of the speciality drinks was ok, but not a great hit. I would skip the pork belly appitizer. While interesting and tasty, too much fat.

I had sent an email that we were celebrating a birthday and was so pleased that the server had been informed ahead of time. When we ordered some dessert our server brought our hers with a candle. Very nice touch. Also the server was very good with my grandson and brought his dinner right away so that he didn't get impatient. The food was outstanding!!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! The food was delicious and the service was great1 The restaurant is in a 150 year home that has been remodeled to become a lovely restaurant with several rooms for dining.
The menu covered all ranges of palates. For an appetizer we had the fun fried pickles! Everything was delicious! It's always my first choice to take out of town guests or even local friends who have never experienced it. I've even hosted team work events there with great success. This particular occasion was my daughter's 12th birthday celebration and SHE chose Milton's because she loves it. She devours the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. With such friendly and quick service, we were in and out in no time at all. My food was excellent! I had the bone-in rib eye steak and delicious mussels as an appetizer. The crab cakes my husband had were good, but not exceptional, and way too small. My husband would have come away still hungry if I had not shared my steak. We sat outside which was very pleasant and they offered to take us on a tour of their garden. We had run across this restaurant at a food festival and they were a standout among all the restaurants there so we had put them on our list to try but it took us a while to get there because they are in Alpharetta and we are in Atlanta. It was our anniversary, but we also had our 21 month old with us. Food was great, and our server was friendly and didn't seem annoyed we had a young child with us. Kids mac n cheese is more for adults though, as the flavor of the cheese was pretty sharp, so we had to trade it for plain pasta. Overall we enjoyed the whole experience and would go back. Always a great choice. They have changed the Fried Pickles a bit and gone with slices rather than wedges. The result is a nicer, more subtle dish with more lightly fried to perfection surfaces on the wedges. Improves the appetizer in a big way.
The family had the Trout Special, Filet and Fried Chicken for our daughter. Mashed Potatoes were great, Risotto was great, etc. A very nice experience and well worth every dollar.
They finally ran out of the Patz and Hall Dutton Ranch Chardonnay. That's a shame. A wonderful wine at a reasonable price. Sure you hope they can get it back.
A hope for something better: Desserts don't really sing here. If you want chocolate, you really can't get your "chocolate on".
