  • "The food was better than it has been on the last few times I visited the restaurant. The service was excellent. I had requested" a round table in a semi-private because we would be celebrating a birthday" are when I made the reservation. That is exactly what we were given. Also, they brought a birthday treat for one of my guests even though I had not said anything when we arrived."

  • "We were a group of 12 celebrating a birthday on a recent rainy Saturday night. Our first impression was not favorable, as there was a bucket catching drops from a leaky ceiling in the strange entry area that had a makeshift feel to it. Once inside the actual dining room, we were pleased with the decor and ambiance, enhanced by soft piano music. We had a lot of catching up to do, so it was good that the place wasn't crowded and it didn't bother us that the service was slow. The food was nothing special, definitely not hip and adventurous. The prices were reasonable, as they included an appetizer, salad, coffee and dessert. The kids' menu was definitely overpriced, but at least they had it. Overall, nice ambiance, but needs renovation."

  • "I have been to this restaurant before a number of times, with the same friend. We keep choosing it for more than convenience. The food is reliably delicious; the service is warm, personal and attentive. Someone in the lobby labeled it as "expensive", but the price for our entrees included a starter, salad, dessert and coffee. It really was a good deal for the amount of food, and its quality. I highly recommend the salmon on the lunch menu."

  • "My family and I have been going to the Milleridge Inn for many years. The setting is charming. The parking lot is big. The staff is welcoming. The food is very good and reasonable priced. Milleridge is a gem and we hope to celebrate many family occasions or just a quiet meal there in the future."

  • "We were celebrating my mother in law 75th birthday!! Everyone enjoy themselves and still talking about the food. It was great, love the shops as well. It was great that the staff bought over a lovely cake and sang happy birthday to her!! Thank you and your staff for such a lovely time. We will be returning again."

  • "It is a quaint older restaurant. The food was very good....great value!"

  • "Checked the restaurant's Website before we went. Looked at the menu on the website for options, pricing, etc. After we drove 40 minutes to get there and we were seated we found that they had a very limited "St. Patrick's Day" menu. The prices were $7 to $10 higher per entree than on the menu posted on their website. There was also a MUCH smaller selection of entrees. I think there should have been something posted on their website saying that there was a special menu for the weekend. We would not have made the trip had we known. When I told this to the manager he just shrugged his shoulders. We did not stay for dinner and will not make the trip again. ."

  • "I asked for a quiet area for a party of 12, and was given a small, separate area, which was perfect! The wine was good, and our guests enjoyed their meals, from appetizer to dessert. The service was great. We were given ample time to enjoy our special family occasion."

  • "No maître de. Greeter could speak little English. Gave my name and took us upstairs to a private party. I told them I had a reservation for dinner, not part of the party. Seated us on a balcony area with no other diners. Asked to be seated with the rest of the people in the main eating area. From that point on, everything turned sour. Ordered prime ribs, which I have ordered here before. Had so much grizzle I had to discard half. A waitress picked up a plate from the table and brushed my arm it and got food on my suit. I paid over $100 for this meal for two and could not eat part of it. Snowy night with very few customers. The worst service and food I have ever had in my life. I hopefully next time, service and food improve."

  • "We had a very nice time - as always. Milleridge never fails to have great service, not in a hurry type atmosphere. We were there at a quiet time in the early evening and we were served well, attended to and had a good time. We told the waitress we were old friends catching up, so she let us talk and relax when we got there and did not hurry our orders. Milleridge Inn food is always great and you get a lot for your money. I highly recommend this restaurant for families, parties, or just the two of you."

  • "Food and service were good, but don't stay too late. We were the last to leave at 9:15 and they had turned off all the lights outside including the exit. We were there for my mother's 83rd birthday and getting everyone into their cars in the dark icy parking lot was very dangerous."
    Dined on 2/26/2014
  • "I have been going to the Milleridge for over 15 years, it's classic dining for romantic, mature, and family groups. The food is excellent, the deserts are delicious, and the ambiance is conservative. You will not be disappointed."
    Dined on 2/22/2014
  • "I did not have the Brunch because I thought the price was expensive for what was served. I would have liked salmon besides the cold lobster tail. The lunch was good. The service was good."

  • "Restaurant is quaint/historic but corner of the dining room we were in could use some paint on ceiling. Some confusion among staff and we never received items we requested--lemon, water refills, butter, a missing bread plate. Waitress had to stop what she was doing to get the items and seemed a bit thrown off. Some confusion relative to what was included in the meal. Waitress never informed us that the meal included an appetizer and dessert so most of the diners in my party of 10 did not order any of these items. When it was learned that soup, salad and appetizer were complementary, several of the diners asked the watitress to add those and she was quite put off. A bit overpriced for quality/quantity. Disappointed."

  • "Terrible service not to mention the wine list had 10 dollars wine priced for over 30 dollars."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "Hadn't been to the Milleridge in approximately 18 years. The food was average, maybe a little better than average, but for the prices being charged, it is well over-priced. The atmosphere is very nice if you enjoy historical decor and surroundings, and the quaint little shops outside of the restaurant are nice. Can't say we will go back anytime soon. Unfortunately the restaurant isn't as nice as it was 20* years ago, and that's a shame."

  • "I went to this restaurant for Valentine's day. The food quality was low. The service was poor. We Didn't get bread or offer champagne. We saw roses and little bags on other tables, we asked the waiter and he said I will bring you yours. But he didn't do it. He was all over the place. I rally do mot recommend this restaurant. Waste of money."

  • "We were married at the Milleridge , so this restaurant has a special meaning to us. We love coming here for special occasions, and this was no exception. The Pre Fixe menu was wonderful and diverse...something for everyone. Since this inn dates back to the 1700's it is truly a unique and inviting place to have dinner."

  • "Great Valentine's Dinner for my wife and another couple. Food was very good, waiter very attentive despite the large number of people for the holiday. This place is great for any holiday. Be sure to make a reservation. There's a romanticfire place and a DJ playing lots of old standards for dancing."

  • "I took my wife here for a Valentine's day diner, the ambiance was very nice, quiet, relaxed and romantic. The food and service was very good ,the only negative was it took a little long to get all our food but it was definitely worth the wait."

  • "Food was good as always. Alot of food for the money. Dessert, and coffee included. However, they were apparently short of help, so it took a long while to get the main course."

  • "For the past four (4) years, my husband and I have returned to Milleridge Inn during the Christmas holidays, to commemorate our first date. The ambience is spectacular during the Christmas holiday; the fresh breads; the Christmas Carols; and service. The dinner menu is much better than the lunch menu. In this last trip, we were in town for the Holidays from Florida. We arrived for lunch---and have decided to return next year, for the dinner menu, instead. See you in 2014. Regards."

  • "We were a party of four, had reservations and seated immediately. Our server was outstanding and she did not rush us even though the Milleridge was busy. The salads are great and there French Onion Soup Gratinee is to die for! The Sauerbraten entrée as well as the Tilapia, Double Breast Chicken filled with Ham, Swiss and mushroom wine sauce and of course there Quiche Lorraine were all magnificent. The portions are all generous but leave some room for the outstanding Rice Pudding. What was also very impressive was the décor inside the Inn, each season/holiday is decorated accordingly."

  • "We had a party of 8 for a birthday and asked for a round table when I made the reservation. When I arrived at the Milleridge I asked the hostess again and another gentleman for a round table. Still when we were seated we had a long table ugh upon insisting we finally got a round table. We were there for 3 1/2 hrs and our orders were messed up - I think our waiter was exhausted. Finally near the end we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. The food is not as good as usual so was disappointed - had guests from Ct."

  • "Meals are pricey, but come with extra courses included. I'd rather pay less per meal and not have an appetizer, salad and dessert included - the portions are exceedingly large. It was nice for a special occasion."

  • "Milleridge does not dissapoint, it was decorated still for Christmas making the place beautiful and festive. It was a great lunch we were not rushed and the food was great! It was my friends birthday and I had noted that on the open table reservation and the restaurant came to the table with a small cake and since dessert was included my friend was able to take the cake home!"

  • "Millridge is a wonderful place to visit visually & enjoy an American fare meal. I have been here for many parties with great food, This was our 1st time as a family that we ate at the restaurant itself. My sons choices from the children's menu were in their words "GREAT and there's a lot here mom". Yes we came home with food. The steak & sides that my Husband ate as he said "Meat is cooked just right for me though I would have liked a little more."The Milleridge Chicken was slightly dried & very hard at the tips/ends I only ate the center & the sides. The green beans on all the dinners were overcooked. I am taking into consideration that since we ate later than the "regular dinner crowd" could have be the reason for the chicken & beans."
