Delicious food for price! Excellent service! Our waitress was outstanding! Great ambiance! The only thing I would be more careful of, even though it is an old structure, is to find a non-offensive scent that masks the environment musty smell.

We had won dinner for 2 at a fundraiser so we went for my husbands bday which I had mentioned in reservation. Manager even came to table asking if it was someone's bday. I said yes. I was surprised that no candle was put in his dessert and no singing yet 2 mins later the staff sang to the lady at next table. Maybe because they brought a small cake with them? Maybe because they paid for their meal and ours was free (except for anything extra)? I was disappointed. The food was okay but nothing special.

If you're looking for comfort food combined with more modern food mixed in with an old Inn then this is the place. Yankee Pot Roast on the menu next to Chilean Sea Bass. Service took a little long at first but after that they were right on top of things without hovering over us. Overall Very Good. Probably a great spot for Brunch with the surrounding mini-village and their shops.

We haven't been to the Milleridge Inn in 10 years and we found the cuisine was as we left it, standard and uninspiring. The restaurant itself is sprawling and always decorated for the season but the cuisine lacked that same that would make you decide to try the Milleridge in the first place.

I hadn't been to the Milleridge Inn in years (live in Manhattan) but I took a friend there for lunch since I thought she'd enjoy it. It was just as nice as I remembered, food choices good, basic and delicious, service exceptional, history of the place impressive. Walked around the village shops for awhile. My friend loved it! We plan to visit again.

Our lunch was in the Carriage House, not the main building because they had a fire there a few months back and some renovation work was being done. No big deal, because my wedding reception was at the Carriage House almost 27 years ago. The menu was limited because of the relocation, also not an issue. But the tablecloths all had little holes in them - couldn't they get new ones to replace? And the floor may have recently been shellacked, because the surface was sticky and my aunt had rubber soled shoes and fell because her shoes were sticking to the floor. Luckily nothing was broken and she didn't even get bruised. The staff was helpful and apologetic, but I'll have to think twice about going back anytime soon.

Milleridge Inn offers a very nice dining experience in a lovely old house. Although somewhat pricey at $42 or so, the Sunday brunch included a vast array of breakfast and lunch items, including iced lobster and cocktail shrimp (yum!). They had several "bars", including ones that offered omelettes, waffles & pancakes, sliced turkey or beef, bananas foster and my favorite, chocolate fondue.

We were very happy with the food that we were served and the service was excellent. The price was a little steep for a Wednesday night dinner. I wish they would make things just a little more affordable for everyone, including us Seniors that would like to go out more but can't afford to spend $42 per person for a 2 hour dinner with one bar drink. The full price-fixed dinner ranged from $28 to about 36.00. That includes a very lot of great food, including appetizer, fruit cup, dinner plate and dessert and coffee. It does not include a bar drink and a tip and that's what makes the whole idea of dining out a turn-off for me, unless it is a special occasion.

We went on Open Table to make a reservation and they did not have a reservation until 8PM. I thought wow - the restaurant will be crowded for a Monday night. When we arrived, we were the ONLY diners in the place. This restaurant is old and beautiful! It has charm and character to spare but the food could use a major overhaul. I ordered Chicken Francese and it was dry and tasteless. My husband and son ordered Prime Rib..it was nothing special. It is a shame that the food does not match the atmosphere. Overall we were very disappointed!

I made a reservation for Father's day, Ihave been here many times and was looking forward to it. What they did not tell me was that there would be a dinner buffet only ,not the usual menu i was expecting, since I was with a group of people we deciced to stay. The buffet was very expensive($43.00 each) and the food was poor quality at best, certainly not worth the price. Sorry

We went for my sons graduation. We should have been told that a while back there was a kitchen fire and would only be serving buffet style when I go out for a special occasion I would liked to be served. The restaurant was empty when we got there. They sat us at a long table against the wall. We didnt know until after we were seated it was buffet. Having a table against the wall, especially when restaurant was empty, was not a good situation when you have to get up and down for a buffet. The price for the buffet was high. It included unlimited drinks, but if you have people who don't drink it's not worth it . Would not recommend and won't go back

We went on a Saturday at 4:00 for a party of 10. There was a fire in the kitchen a week prior so there was only a buffet available. It was $45.00 a person!!! The carving station, pasta station and waffle stations were unmanned and we had to flag down people to help us! The two waitresses for the tables were nice though. THe food was so-so. For that money I would have expected more selection and better quality food.

Having made a reservation online I only had the website to go through . When I booked a table for Mother's Day no mention of having a special buffet menu was seen. I had expected the regular menu. While there was many options on the buffet the food was not up to par. The service was slow and our waitress was hard to find . We often asked other servers for help with drinks , ketchup for the table , etc... I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for special occasions.

The service and maintenance of the buffet was disappointing at best. We have always liked the restaurant, but hadn't been back for several years. I hope my Mothers Day experience was just a fluke and not typical of the good service and quality now. I was surprised. Water at the table was not refilled once, spoons were not available. Stations at the buffet were not staffed. Ice cream was not available. Food was left uncovered and became cold. The hosting staff was disorganized, unwelcoming, and did not seem to know what they were doing. I wish we had ordered the sit down dinner instead.

I brought a large party in for Mother's Day and I was quite disappointed by the buffet selection. For $50 a person, I was expecting a better selection of dishes. While the corned beef was spectacular, the prime rib was tasteless. I am a huge seafood fan but I found the shrimp cocktail to be mushy. Normally, truly fresh cold shrimp should be somewhat crunchy where it should "snap" when bitten into, not mushy. The lobster was extremely tough and tasteless, which I found virtually inedible. On a brighter note, the dessert selection was very good. Overall, I felt the $50/person price was extremely overpriced. No wonder there were empty tables, even on a busy day like Mother's Day.

We have been going to the Milleridge Inn for at least 25 years. We have celebrated many special occasions there. We decided to go out on the Saturday night before Mother's Day. Due to traffic, we were 30 minutes late for dinner, and they held our reservations. The food was delicious as always. The service, however, was terrible. Our waitress seemed to always forget about us. We sat for about 15 minutes before drink orders were taken. We waited a long time for appetizers and salads, and then once the salads came out, the main entree arrived. The timing was poor. Our meal took over 3 hours -- for 3 people. My first disappointing experience with them.

Although the menu awas not as extensive as might be found elsewhere, id did offer a balance of meat, poultry and fish. The menu prices may seem a little high, but when an appetizer, salad, entee, coffee & desert are all included, it is in fact very reasonable. The Inn is quite historic and the grounds are very senic with quaint shoppes to browse through. The service was excellent, however the noise level was high and it was difficult to hear across the table to have a conversation.

5 o'clock reservations. Seated immediately among many empty tables. Had to request water, bread and butter after waiting 15 minutes even though idle employees were milling around reception area. Soup was barely warm when it was finally served. My parents are in their nineties with limitations. Did not want to waste more time in getting someone's attention and sending the soup back to the kitchen. Noise level very high due to a large group previously seated near us. Perhaps we could have been seated in a more remote area? Entree menu offerings disappointing.

We had a very nice time. You get a lot of food for the money and it's very tasty. My only complaint (and it's the same complaint from last time I was there last May) is that my food wasn't as hot as I'd like it. It was almost as if they kept my food out while preparing the food for the rest of the table. By the time it reached my place, it was room temperature, but I was not about to send it back and have the rest of my guests wait for my plate to return. As it turns out, at least one other guest had the same opinion of the food temperature, but also didn't want to share this problem and make the others wait for it's return.

The Milleridge Inn has been around for years, however, as of late the food has improved significantly, and they now have choices such as Sunday Brunch, Friday nite buffet and they participated in Restaurant week, which we took advantage of. Not disappointed. Brings you back to a bye-gone period. Improvements have been made, but my only complaint would be the chairs. While they are comfortable, they are too low. You sit and you sink. Other than that the food was great, the service was fabulous and they don't rush you out so you can enjoy a wonderful dinner with friends and family and not worry that you have to hurry up. Would definitely return.
