Milleridge InnExcellentWe went here on a Saturday afternoon for a post-wedding celebration, following a very small wedding ceremony. Service and food were terrific. The food is delicious, the staff is always gracious and they always accommodate almost any request. Sunday was the first day of the all you can eat brunch. We didn't opt for that but rather ate off the Sunday brunch menu, but after visiting the room where the buffet was, we are tempted to return for the buffet some Sunday. I never visited this place for a Sunday brunch before. I doubt i will come here for a "Sunday Brunch" again.
The service was very good - not quite as good as I am used to from my past experiences which was just a little over two months ago for a weekday business lunch.
To keep it short for OpenTable, the food served to my father, mother, wife, and myself was all mediocre. The chicken liver appetizer Father ordered was excellent as usual. But the main entrees - blah.
I will visit this place again during a weekday to make sure everything else about this place remains a place I can continue to recommend to friends and family.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a tripWe recently took my mom to Milleridge for lunch to celebrate her 89th birthday. While growing up in the area, I had never been overwhelmed with the quality of food there, but it always was a favorite of my mom's, so we decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised - the food was not only good, but the portions were more than ample. None of us was disappointed in our selections. The service was good (although we did wait quite a while for our check, which they profusely apologized for). The only downside is the interior - on what was a bright sunny day, it had a dark and dreary feeling. But it is an old structure, with dark wood paneling and coiffered ceilings. It as become our go to place for family special occasions. And for just dining with friends. I love the decor. The staff is super friendly and thoughtful. Came here when kids were little and they went the extra yard to accommodate them. There are many food choices so everyone can find something they like. It is well cooked not fancy but don't want fancy we want wholesome satisfying food and you get that here and the prices are reasonable enough that you don't have to break the bank to take a large family out. I made my reservation for 11:45am and got there on time. When the waiter gave us our menus it was a modified Mothers Day dinner menu. I asked him where the brunch menu was and he advised me that they were only serving dinner not brunch. Needless to say we ended up eating "dinner" at 12:00 that day. I was disappointed but we made the best of it. I just don't think they should advertise a Brunch and then only offer dinner. Otherwise the service was outstanding and the food was great.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a surprise!!!We reserved this place for a family gathering for Mothers Day. Little to our surprise we were seated in a private room with our own personal wait staff. The Look on Moms face was priceless. We had an excellent time that felt like we were having dinner in our own dining room and had no mess to clean up. The staff was excellent and did not rush us in any way. We had a very nice time at the Milleridge. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was very good. My turkey dinner was cold, but I didn't want to spoil the occasion so I didn't say anything. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. We walked around outside after eating and that was very nice. Will I go again? My whole family took me there for the brunch. We were treated so good. The service, the waitresses were so friendly. Thank you for making my Birthday so happy. Millridge is one of our go to for a special occasion. Actually had not been there in a few years, but it was just as we remembered. Had early evening reservation. We were seated, given, water, bread and yorkshire pudding, all good. But then nothing, began to worry if this is what we were in for all evening. It did not seem to be busy at that time so not sure why no one returned to take our order. But when the waitress finally returned she apologized profusely for the delay. She had asked someone else to take out drink order while she attended other diners in the other room. Anyway she gave us our first round of drinks on the house for the mishap. The food is good, the atmosphere is appealing and the service is great. Walking around the little shops in the Milleridge "village" is always fun.

We were greeted by a freindly host who seated us at the table we requested here on OpenTable. The waitress was charming, the food delicious and plentiful... lots of left overs, and we stayed and for about 2 1/2 hours lughing, discussing and having a great time.
