Mile High offers an attractive interior, and classy service and food. High quality and varied, the menu offers both full entrees and heavy appetizers. Everything, including the service, has that touch of the extra-special and the gourmet's form of food preparation.

We are never disappointed when we eat at this fine dining establishment and this was no exception. Steaks are the best around and the seafood is always fresh. It is one of our favorites for that special occasion or when we want to treat friends and family to something special.

We eat often at Mile High, but had a so-so experience last Friday. My wife's filet was done as she likes it, but my NY strip was overcooked, coming out medium well instead of medium rare. That's a big miss, but fortunately it was a good piece of meat, so it tasted OK. Everything else was fine, including the "devils on horseback" date appetizer and our drinks. Hopefully, this is a one-time thing.

I dined here with m daughter for an early dinner (5PM). We were greeted promptly and seated in the dining room. The atmosphere was very nice. The interior decorator did a very nice job to keep it formal without being stuffy. Our waiter did everything a waiter should technically but was about as friendly as a teenager woken up at 5am on a Saturday. Other servers we observed were much more engaging and professional. He also had bad breath that we couldn't ignore. Food was average. Good quality but lacked proper prep (vegetables were nearly raw and steak lacked flavor). Not nearly as good as even some chains like Firebirds or places like Emerils in Bethlehem. I wouldn't avoid but would not make a point to return.

Terrible!!! From the wrong drinks being brought to the table, to waiting 45 minutes for the bread service, to cold food served an hour-and-a-half into this culinary travesty. Terrible!!! It was literally what I imagine dog food to taste like. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this awful, awful place.

I have been here before and recommended it to my coworkers. It is a bit pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. Drinks are more than what we are accustomed to for what they are. Food is beyond supreme. I will always come back and I am pretty sure that my coworkers will recommend Mile High as well.

Still a good restaurant but not the Mile High we remember. Food is good, not outstanding as I had hoped. A bit pricey for the quality of what you receive. Would have preferred a friendlier waitress. It felt as if we were not as welcome as we should have been.

I was extremely impressed the first few times going to Mile High but the services and food have been slowly declining. On the most recent trip it took 55 minutes for dinner to arrive after ordering (not total time from seated to dinner). The appetizer (fried mac and cheese was still cold/frozen in the middle). In addition to the appetizer my wife and I also ordered salads. The salad and appetizer course were finished and we waited twenty five minutes for entrees (which were both hot and good, no complaints there). A few friends have had similar experiences on recent visits. For the money spent, better service and better food preparation should occur.

This was only our second visit, but it was not as amazing as our first visit. The bar was so noisy, that it was distracting in the dining room. The caesar salad was limp and warm and the crab cakes were disappointing. We were told it was all lump crab, but they did not have any seasoning to them nor did they even look like the lump crab cakes we had on our first visit. Also, our service was just not the same. We had to ask for a water refills. We were so impressed with this restaurant at our first visit, and our meal was still very good, but considering the prices, overall, not quite as good.

A party was in the next room and the noise/DJ/music was so loud a number of customers asked to have the music/volume turned down. We were ready to leave when finally, they took a break. We had specifically requested a booth in the back because previously the booths in the bar were so noisy, you couldn't carry on a conversation. The busboy did relay our concern to the manager, but the noise continued for at least 15 more minutes before it stopped.

Used to be a four star favorite, but fell flat on this visit. First two selections for apps ordered from the menu, server came back "the kitchen can't make that". Both main dishes were left half eaten, fish was tasteless and strip steak a poor/tough cut. Sides were bland. There was some discussion overheard of a new fall menu, can't come soon enough.

This time, Mile High was a bit off in the preparation of their steaks, not enough to send them back, but not quite right either. My wife's filet was medium instead of medium well and my rib eye was not as juicy as usual, although the flavor was good. Chalk it up to a very busy Friday evening, because we eat here often and are always happy. The lobster, served as part of the surf and turf deal, was excellent. Ceil's service, as always, was great.

Great Happy Hour with fantastic pricing, well made drinks (need a few more beers on tap to compete with the new kids on the block) but the experienced bartenders are what makes this the place to be for Happy Hour. Our only suggestion is to get rid of the prepackaged seasoned fries that are usually left on our plates. Fresh cut non seasoned steak house fries with Mile High's excellent selection of burgers would make others pale. Oh yes, if you want to stay for a great meal in the dining room, that works too. Excellent service and great steaks and seafood. All around Mile High knows how to keep people coming back. I guess that is why the place is always packed!

I've been to Mile High a number of times and it has always been a special place. However, most recently on my visit the service was not as top notch as in the past, and the prime rib my wife and I ordered were both overcooked from how we specified. This is not normal for Mile High. Maybe regular staff is away on vacation, but they need to keep their consistency up for the prices they charge!

Everything from a nice selection of rolls with a flavored butter to the delightful sorbet palate cleanser served after the appetizer on to steaks that are done exactly as we like them, is designed to provide a great dining experience. There are NO organic offerings and few, VERY FEW, vegetarian meals,~ NOTHING that looked appealing anyway. I do not eat meats that are not free range, humanely raised and antibiotic and steroid free. I rarely eat meat at all. I saw NO wild caught fish selection. Will not be returning. The only food we could order were the twin tails, hopefully not farmed raised, we were told they were from south Africa. The King crab legs were from Alaska, so that was cool. The salads were ok..... but we took our chance and ate them even though NOT organic. I had a stomachache after, I guess my body is not used to pesticides.

Front of the house management changes and service can be great or so-so depending on the server - but we go here for the FOOD and it is consistently great! Chef Dave and his crew continue to keep the menu balanced between Classics (steaks cooked to perfection with house made sauces for the steaks that are over the top, wedge salad is always crispy and served on a cold plate) and contemporary menu items and specials that are always tempting and deliver
