All top players have an occasional off night. I'm a regular there, my most recent experience wasn't up to your usual high standards. The down side of your wonderfully variable menu is that sometimes even the same dish is prepared a little differently than the last time I had it. In this case, "a little differently" meant "not as well". On the other hand, the service was flawless as always.

This place had potential...good menu, easy parking...well that's all the good news there is....food was bad! Everyone had a complaint about their food. But to get the shrimp rice balls and have them served ice cold inside. Ughhh. The waiter did nothing but said sorry, want a salad?

I have been reading about this restaurant for years, but finally decided to visit. Wow, was it worth the wait! Menu changes daily, farm to table operation. Creativity at its' best. They have a very interesting wine list in addition to the food menu. The biggest surprise was that there was no Crown Royal on their liquor bar. Have never run into that scenario in a Florida restaurant before, but it sent me on a search for a different bourbon and found the Willett's. Very nice alternative. We had a group of six, service was perfect, not too noisy, Clean crisp décor. Overall we were very pleased with our experience. We will definitely return. Not hard to see why they have received so many Golden Spoons!

We had business associates visiting from Europe and wanted to take them to eat somewhere that served fresh local foods that were delicious, well prepared and not heavy. There was no doubt in our mind where to go, Mildred's always delivers. The caesar salad was incredible. The freshest romaine lightly grilled with amazing dressing. Between us, we had the lamb, scallops and tuna entrees and all were cooked to perfection. The wine we had was very nice and our European friends were highly impressed with the selection and the fact that someone actually took the time to store all of it appropriately. All of us enjoyed every moment of dinner as well as the relaxing atmosphere.

A big disappointment. Terrible service. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, we hardly saw our server. That sandwich & fries? She only brought the sandwich because 'fries are not ready yet'. Fries came out 10 minutes later. Not good. My salmon was undercooked. Came with pasta, which I didn't notice was on the menu else I'd have ordered something else. Burger was ordered medium-rare, but was served well-done. Instead of refilling my coffee at the table, the server kept taking away my coffee cup to refill it; same with water glasses. My guests were very disappointed with both food and service. One positive note, the slices of cake are big and delicious. Go to Mildred's for dessert..only.

We attended the "Tastes of Spain" bar dinner hosted by the Mildred's chefs and it was amazing! The staff had wine suggestions for each course and the chefs came out and talked about each plate and the region of Spain that it came from. Everything was delicious!

We selected Mildred's because the menu sounded fresh & interesting plus reservations were accepted (Open Table). We were very pleased with our choice of Mildred's for food, service, and ambience. Lunch offered some wonderful choices but we started with fried calamari - fresh calamari, fried perfectly. Lunch brought quiche, homemade frankfurter, and curry chicken salad - all delicious. Shared a strawberry shortcake for dessert - divine. Wish more appetite for the great dessert selections. Our server was terrific - friendly, attentive, knowledgeable - did not miss a thing. We will be back.

This visit to Mildred's was delightful. Service was outstanding: no rush to get through each course so they could bring on the next one, wait staff was attentive but not hovering; able to discuss wines with some knowledge (unusual) and noise level was such that we could talk among the group without screaming at each other. Two appetizers for 4 were sufficient -Duck confit, and cheese platter- both very good; Champagne cocktail was refreshing and worth a repeat the next visit; Duck breast was just seared and served rare which my companion said was perfect; the scallops were served with a vegetable combination that I found unusual but tasty; our other dining companions each had the same fish that they said was beautifully done.

I eat here frequently and the experience is always awesome! The menu changes constantly so there's always something new to try and the service staff will take great care of you. On this trip, we had the bacon-wrapped stuffed rabbit and the goat-cheese crusted lamb chops both of which were delicious. Ask you server what wine to have with your meal and they will point you to some small label vineyards on their wine list that are producing some tasty wines. And save room for dessert, all their cakes are made in house and go great with a nice glass of port.
