We were there celebrating a birthday and brought a cake. They brought the cake to the table with a serving of fried ice cream for the birthday boy. The birthday goodie at all other restaurant is complimentary; however, a look at the bill indicated we were charged $6. The food is always fresh and delicious. The outdoor patio atmosphere is always festive. The drinks are cold and just the right strength. The enchiladas del mar and enchiladas suiza are two of my favorite dishes here. A chicken quesadilla with nice moist flavorful chunks of chicken assembled and pressed warmly with care. Not your usual version of a rubbery quesadilla flattened like road kill
A sea food enchilada with tender moist morsels of properly cooked quality seafood with a couple of sauces authentically crafted that show the real flavorful of their core ingredients be it cilantro, chipotle or others. Sides of beans and rice done just right.

The food offerings are not just another re-hash of every other Mexican restaurant - many unique and delicious choices. Their carnitas are my favorite. The shrimp-guacamole ("shrimp-amole") was a huge favorite at our table. I also think they have some of the best Margarita offerings around. The Mexican Hipster is a uniquely flavored drink with tequila and jalapeno. The ceviche is moist and yummy. The enchiladas (suiza or del mar) are prepared as you like them to be, as are the burritos (you can change the type of beans, add to or subtract ingredients). The only downfall this time was our server. She was nice but didn't pay attention to details. I had to ask for one thing twice and when our bill came, she charged us for something we ordered and they were out of. The manager had to fix that so that we paid for what we actually consumed.
