I was really hesitant to try
Mexican food in CA. I worried that it just wouldn't compare to the stuff back home. This was BETTER, by far! We had such a great experience here, will certainly go again when we come back for a visit. "

We love Milagros. It is our
before-movie go-to spot. A nice location, great food, fun energy. The service was a little slow this last time but generally the staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual but fun."

Who knew that our usual lunch
place had a special weekend brunch menu! And with a twist on Chilaquiles and homemade chorizo scramble amongst other greats, there's something for everyone. Tasty and relaxing, nice to sit outside on a sunny Saturday and brunch the morning away!"
Dined on 4/12/2014
I took my parents, It was a
mistake, the place was so noisy that we could not have a conversation."
Dined on 4/12/2014
There are many new items on the
menu at Milagros and all of them sounded so good I had a hard time deciding. Ordered the new a la carte tacos, one steak and one shrimp and they were both delicious!"
Dined on 4/8/2014
We had a delicious meal shared
with 7 people and every one of us loved their choices! Santiago was a great waiter, attentive and helpful; the food was superb and the ambience wonderful. The crab and mango salad was fantastic! We dined outdoors and will definitely be back!!!"

We had a fun and delicious family
dinner last weekend at Milagros. It is definitely a happening place and the food is a real draw. They handled our table of 10 without any problem - we'll be back!"
Dined on 3/23/2014
We were in the mood for mexican
food and a night out with the kids and Milagros was perfect. Great kids' menu, nice buzzing atmosphere, good food. The kids got crayons, we got margaritas. Great family night out."
Dined on 3/22/2014
Milagros is a good choice for
large servings of tasty Mexican food. My party and I enjoyed the chips and three salsas (served for a fee) as well as the chicken chopped salad, tacos, and quesadilla. The waitress was a bit less attentive than I would have liked, but the overall service was still good. Milagros is a good choice when shopping or attending a movie in Redwood City, particularly during a day with nice weather when outdoor dining is available."
Dined on 3/16/2014
But the noise level in the dining
area was very very loud, the only issue that would make me think twice before going back. I would think twice about going with friends where I really wanted to have a conversation during dinner, but otherwise the menu choices were numerous, the food tasted great and the waitress was pleasant with quick service."
Dined on 3/7/2014
The food was great and the service
was excellent. Our server Santiago was very nice."

This was my first time eating at
Milagros and I will definitely be back! The food was yummy, and the overall scene was vibrant. The staff was courteous and responsive - all in all a very good experience."

I went here for lunch with my
co-workers (6) . Seated & served quickly, finished within the hour. A great spot for outdoor dining on nice day. Pricey lunch spot. No lunch menu, so you are paying for a full plate of food-dinner portion. I ordered carnitas for $17. Much too high for a lunch plate. The carnitas were dry. The tacos are ala carte & pricey, $5.75/taco. This would be a good happy hour spot for appetizers. They charge for chips & salsa. For as much as you pay for lunch, they should be free. This is the unwritten rule for mexican restaurants. Clearly, they didn't get the msg. There are other good mexican restraurants in the area(within walking distance) who serve chips&salsa for free and lunch would be 1/2 the cost."

We had a wonderful dinner and
service while dining with friends. The food was good and the service was wonderful! Thank you!"
Dined on 2/21/2014
Milagros is a great lunch spot on
the Peninsula. Take a slight curve from the traditional Mexican food, the good here tastes fresh and very flavorful. I had a mole enchilada and was very pleased at the richness of the taste. This spot is great for a group, or even for a lunch meeting. The staff is attentive and clearly enjoy the food here as well, as they are quick to offer suggestions and recommendations for best dishes."

Loved their food, their Ahi Poke
is very delicious, our server Mayra was very nice and friendly!"

Great food and service. Milagros
is our go-to restaurant."
Dined on 2/17/2014
Milagros serves great Mexican food
in a hip & fun environment."
Dined on 2/16/2014
Food was great. Our server was
attentive and responsive. Only negative was the noise level, we were seated in a booth near the front door and the entrance to the kitchen wasn't far behind, so it was quite loud at times. I'm sure there us better seating which would have made it a better experience. Definitely will go back but will refuse to be seated in that area."

My friend was visiting from the
Pacific Northwest and he wanted to gather old friends in the Bay Area to help him celebrate his birthday. Milagros was a perfect find. They have a table for twelve in the back section of the restaurant and we felt cozy, yet still part of the "scene." Curtains were pulled and we were on our way to a lovely evening. Our waiter was very attentive, the margaritas were delicious, and when they found out we were celebrating a birthday, desserts were free. I would highly recommend this restaurant."
Dined on 2/7/2014
I just love the guacamole here.
This time I had the tuna tacos and a soup instead of my usual fajitas. It was really good and not fat or anything. Love the cocktails here too. Service should be a little less fast. We felt rushed."
Dined on 1/4/2014
Do not come here if you're looking
for anything remotely close to good Mexican food. I mean, I'm not sure at all what they're calling what they serve here, but its anything but Mexican. It could be me, (not), but I was looking for a good Mexican restaurant and this place was included in the OpenTable search, and while I haven't been here before I thought, "Let's give it a go". Very regrettable. If you go here looking for good Mexican, and become very disappointed, don't say I didn't tell you so. Younger crowd here, which is great, but no one could be here for the food; must be the noise level, drinks, and perhaps a guy looking for a girl, or a girl looking for a guy. Do not come here for the food."
Dined on 1/31/2014
Love the chicken tauquitos,
guacamole, and shrimp quesadillas. The margaritas were great too."
Dined on 1/29/2014
Milagro's is a great place for
business lunch. You may choose indoors, outdoors, or a little of both if your table is on the corner just inside the outdoor patio. Ambiance supports conversation at the table. Wait staff could be a little more frequent in checking in at the table. Our meals came promptly and the wait staff all had smiles and great attitudes. This is my most frequent suggestion for lunch in this area."
Dined on 1/28/2014
Loved Milagros since the first
time I went! They have the BEST micheladas, in my opinion. Very friendly staff. Quick service as well. Just all together an awesome atmosphere."
Dined on 1/25/2014
Fun and great place to eat, very
affordable. The service staff is very nice."

I chose this restaurant because
I"m a foodie and needed a good spot to take a client to lunch. The menu is fantastic and the food was scrumptious. I wasn't feeling great and had the tortilla soup which was the perfect comfort food. I also shared in some of the other dishes that our tables shared. Everything tasted fresh, flavors didn't over-power each other but made each bite a party for the taste buds. I would highly recommend Milagros! BTW--Service was wonderful, on top of everything and never in the way."
Dined on 1/16/2014
We had a great time at Milagros!
food and service was great! We tried their tamale and it was delicious also the best sugar snap peas! Very friendly staff!"
Dined on 1/8/2014
We had an outstanding meal with
incredibly fresh ingredients and innovative combinations. The maui maui ceviche was fantastic, as were the salmon tacos. the guacamole with dungeness crab was delicious. this restaurant has really upped its game recently."
Dined on 1/12/2014
We were seated next to the private
dining room where there was a loud party going on. It was too noisy for our table of six to speak across the table. Food was great!"
Dined on 1/2/2014
We were seated on time. The
service was attentive, and we both enjoyed our dinners. He had fajitas and I had a beef dinner, as well. The meat was prepared exactly the way I expected. The only downside was that we were asked if we wanted chips & salsa, but weren't told there would be a charge."
Dined on 12/31/2013
As always, food and service was
great, Janet our server was also very nice and friendly!"
Dined on 12/28/2013
As always food and service was
great, Javier our server was very nice and helpful!"

Even with a reservation we spent
about 15 minutes waiting for our table. The staff was nice about it but this place is almost always packed Thursday-Saturday night. The food is about what you'd expect: don't order anything too fancy (like Mole), just stick to the basics and you won't be let down (i.e Enchiladas, Fajitas, Burritos, Quesadillas, etc.) The wait staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. I recommend the churros if you're in the mood for dessert. They have a pretty small diameter but taste way better than anything you'd get a ballpark or Disneyland! It can be very difficult to hear people since this place can get rowdy so I wouldn't recommend for a romantic dinner. Otherwise you should have a great time!"
Dined on 12/19/2013
great food, fast and friendly
service, always excellent, every time!"

they never let your glasses be
empty! had a great time doing the bottomless mimosa brunch! bread pudding french toast was delicious. wish they had more veggie options though"
Dined on 12/7/2013
Went to Milagros to celebrate a
friend's good health report from her doctor. I made a reservation for 4 but then a few other friends wanted to join us. They didn't have a table for 7 inside, so we had to sit outside on a very cold evening. They surrounded us with heat lamps and we were very toasty warm. It was perfect! The food and drinks were excellent."
Dined on 12/4/2013
Hadn't been to Milagros since the
summer. New menu, but some favorites are still on the menu. Great staff, great food, and fabulous drinks!!!"
Dined on 12/1/2013
HMMMM...........never had to ask
for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant! Seated by the front door and as it got busier, the doors stayed open and very drafty as people were holding it open since they couldn't come in. I ordered a spicy margarita, I think it was called the Steddman...well 3 of them. First one was not spicy.....second one was better, 3rd wasn't at all. Our server seemed like she was always in a hurry when she'd come to our table and felt rushed. Food was good......"
Dined on 11/29/2013
Milagros is one of our favorite
restaurants in redwood city. the menu always contains the freshest and most interesting and innovative cooking. we tried the tortilla soup which was utterly unlike what we expected and so much better! my husband had the steak tacos and i tried the squash quesadilla and both were fabulous , not greasy and smothered with cheese like other places. its a great place to eat outside in the summer, but we were very happy inside too!"
