  • "Milagro is a gem, tucked just up the street from the Rogers Skydome. My buddy and I stopped in for some Marg's and mexican before the Blue Jays game and it was great. Friendly service. Good Mexican food. Great drinks. It's the perfect place to grab a bite in this area before a game, that isn't a tourist trap and over-priced. I will also slip into Milagro mid-week for lunch as they're a good place to grab a bite and drink, as they're always quick and lively. Highly recommend a visit."

  • "The food here was fantastic. I had the arrachera tacos and they were just the right amount of spice and the meat was very tender. I then had the alambre under los clasicos section and it was just the right amount of cheese and spices. The shrimp was well cooked and not chewy. I had the equivalent of the molten chocolate cake for dessert and it was one of the best that I've had in awhile. I'd definitely go back."

  • "The food was amazing and the service was extremely fast! We had 5 people taking care of our table of 2 for the entire evening but we never felt like we were being hounded or disrupted. The entire staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back there again!"

  • "4 friends visited this restaurant prior to a show at the Princess of Wales on Sunday Mar. 30th, 2014. Needless to say it did not live up to what it promised on their home website. The food was terribly overpriced, the waiting staff was disinterested and was not familiar with their menu. The service was almost non-existant at one point and even then the waiter had to be hailed over for assistance. There was a definete language barrier. I was so looking forward to going here but I have to say I will not recomend this restaurant nor will I go back."

  • "I've been here twice, and was floored both times. The food is outstanding, the service is great and the ambiance is authentic. Definitely a place I will be visiting often!"

  • "My fiancé and I are dinner at Milagro and agreed that it was not interesting enough to go again. The food was ok, the service fine, the ambiance- trying to hard to be any static resort in Mexico. I can say that the food was not bad, no issues with the experience specifically but for the price and food we ate, it was not worth it."

  • "Chips, guac, and salsa were amazing, as was the michelada. Ordered fish tacos and pork tacos… The fish taco was not great at all, but the pork was pretty good."

  • "Everything was wonderful; great food - fresh and non of that stodgy tomato-cheesy sauce you sometimes get with Mexican food. Service was excellent. All in all, a great friendly place to go!!"

  • "Have been before. Always great food. Excellent friendly service. Drinks could have less ice though to enjoy a less watered down margarita. But tasty at the start."

  • "Absolutely loved this place, the food was outstanding, the atmosphere was so nice, the service was perfect even when it got really busy. Everyone was very friendly, helped us pronounce the things on the menu - unlike other places we've been where the people are rude and pretentious. Expensive, but I would go there over and over again anyway. I can't say enough about the food. We went there because my husband loves Mexican and I usually don't care for it as I don't like tomatoes and cilantro. There was still lots to choose from and it was incredible. We had the Suiza enchiladas and the cheese-filled meatballs, as well as the churros and the mexican chocolate truffle. All highly recommended."

  • "Fantastic, authentic, Mexican food. Our servers were friendly, attentive and made good suggestions when choosing our meals. Guacamole is the best I've ever had!"

  • "In a neighbourhood with plenty of mediocre overpriced tourist traps, this place is a find. A very interesting menu that takes the usual mexican (and some that's unusual) out of the ordinary. Even the refried beans have a unique flavour (I think it's dark cocoa but not sure) and their seafood items are delicious - tuna ceviche, shrimp tacos have complex, fresh flavours. Excellent guac. The only complaint was that they seemed a little too keen on turning the tables (Saturday) and whipped a plate away before I had finished eating...but hey, overly attentive service is better than the opposite when you've got a show to catch. One of the better Mexican places I've eaten at in Toronto."

  • "Milagro is a casual spot, loud, busy and upbeat. The lure though is the authentic Mexican food that is served up. This is not Taco Bell. Dishes and ingredients that you have never heard of abound. Some may not be to your individual taste but worth trying as many as you can! The guacamole is the best I have ever tasted."

  • "I only recently learned that milagro means miracle in Spanish. As far as I'm concerned, it's a miracle to get such delicious Mexican cuisine (distinct from Mexican food) AND great margaritas this far north of Mexico. I'm a regular, and I expect to continue to be! Best bets: the ceviche, guacamole, tacos adobado or rosarito. Oh - and the agavero spicy hot chocolate with a 1/2 oz of smoky mezcal."

  • "We've been to Milagro before - the food is very good - authentic Mexican and really tasty. The guac is great too. The service both times has been a bit slow (45-60 min for food to arrive after ordering), and 20 min to ask about our cheque when we were finished. It's a busy place, and our waiter didn't really check on us the whole night. There are enough people around, though, you can grab someone's attention The atmosphere is lively and nice, so if you're not in a hurry or have good company, you may not mind the wait."

  • "Best Mexican Restaurant Downtown. Interesting dishes, great Ceviche and big Margaritas. Every time I make a reservation, I don't need it, every time I don't, I wish I had. Can be very busy at time or really quiet - but food is always good."

  • "Great authentic Mexican food. The service was ok, but the guacamole was amazing! Some things were a bit spicier than expected, so ask your server before ordering if you are sensetive to spicy foods. Definitely going back here at some point."

  • "Dined at Milagros on Friday evening with four friends. Havier, our waiter was great, gave fabulous recommendations on tequilas and food. The ceviche was deliciously fresh.. The margaritas were also fantastic, we had three pitchers.. We ordered apps and mains, took our time with dinner, we didn't feel rushed. It was an amazing evening out with the girls."

  • "Milagro is all about authenticity. The overall ambiance, music, and presentation had us feeling like we weren't in Toronto anymore. Our waiter was very friendly and patient, offering great food and drink suggestions. The food itself was very good. Flavourful and authentic Mexican. Our appetizers were excellent, but we both thought our entree's were just okay. Perhaps a different selection on the menu will prove more fruitful in the future. I would definitely return. Also had a vast Tequila list if you're looking for drinks."

  • "I took my girlfriend there on Valentine`s Day. Great choice! We had guacamole with home-made tortillas, tacos al pastor (recommended by waiter), pierna de cordero and meatballs ( don`t remember the name of dish). Everything was very good, especially tacos - never ate taco even close to that one. Juicy and tender - just superb! We also had mojito - they may taste not strong, but don`t be fooled. They have a kick! Definitely recommended."

  • "Second time at Milagros and the experience was great. The food was fantastic and the waitress was very friendly. Fast service, you can be in and out in one hour if you want and they do not rush you at all. Fun music and the noise level was perfect to keep a discussion while listening to the music Overall a great experience. I recommend Tacos al pastor"

  • "I went to Milagro with my boyfriend and two friends of ours for dinner on Friday. The restaurant was busy but not too noisy, so we could chat and not yell at each other across the table. The staff were very friendly and knew the menu inside and out so they were keen to make suggestions and even brought us a sample of the mole sauce which I am so fond of but my friends thought was an oddity! The drinks menu is authentic and offers great tequilas! We indulged in a few bevvies and had a very good time until closing. Around 11:00-11:30 everyone had left the restaurant so we had to walk to a nearby bar to continue our night out. I would recommend this restaurant 100%!"

  • "While visiting Toronto from Ohio, U.S. we saw the restaurant on one of our treks past the building. Being lovers of all things Mexican we just had to make it a destination. The staff was wonderful, seriously wonderful! Every person who we engaged with greeted us and welcomed us. They were accommodating at service - cheerful, friendly, and attentive - the perfect balance of service! Would recommend Milagro for anyone visiting the theater area!"

  • "The guacamole is a fave when my friends and I go. It's always fresh and is deliciously addictive. The never-ending bowl of chips is accompanied with a small bowl of fresh salsa as well and it's got a great kick. Make room for your food too because you can't go wrong with any dish. My favourite is the Tacos La Perla - battered snapper with a wickedly flavourful compliment of fixings. Enjoy!"

  • "Food was very good. Milagro has a great variety of options to satisfy all our palates. Everything comes freshly prepared at reasonable prices. We went before seeing a play. Fortunately we made reservations as it got quite full. However the highlight had to be the staff who were very patient and accommodating in answering several questions. In fact they made certain suggestions to endure we did not over order on the appetizers. These guys are not just out to make an extra buck here and there. As a result we were all well fed without being stuffed (particularly important when going to the theatre). Nice atmosphere .We will definably be back'"

  • "Three of us visited Milagros on Mercer. It was early in the evening and quiet. The food was exceptional- the meatball stuffed with Gouda was the envy of my companions. A bit on the expensive side (esp. the margaritas). Service was friendly and the homemade nachos and salsa refilled rapidly. Will definitely visit again"

  • "I Have spent considerable time in Mexico & appreciate the authenticity of the food. Everything was delicious. I love tequila but I thought the prices were over the top. I would have explored some labels if the prices had of been more in line with my expectations."

  • "Our group of 9 reserved a week in advance, and the restaurant called to confirm the day of. They sat us at the lone table close to the entrance, which was nice because we were able to have conversations without yelling but we were away from the rest of the patrons and music. Another disadvantage to this seating was that it was hard to get the attention of the servers. The food was decent with margaritas and burritos/tacos for all. The portions were satisfying without being too small. I ordered the abodabo burrito - more bacon than ribeye (and too many pieces of tendon). Overall, it was great to try a Mexican restaurant in the city."
