Mikey'sGot to try it!We tried this place with another couple and found it on OpenTable. The food, service and ambience was suprisingly awesome. The wings and cheese curd appetizers were delicious. Salads and burgers we as well. Plenty of fun cocktails and good micro brew on tap.
We were going to see Joe Bonamassa and were concerned about having to wait for seats and service and feeling rushed so we did not miss the concert. Not an issue at Mikey's on a Saturday night at 6:30pm.

The Cheese Curd Mac and Cheese was an unexpected treat, as was the meatloaf. The filet was also nice and tender.
AS to other reviews stating that the prices are too high - nonsense! Only in tightwad Milwaukee are there continuous gripes about restaurant prices. Want a cheap meal?? Go to Denny's. The prices at Mi-Key's are very reasonable!

We were seated immediately and the hostess took our drink and food orders within a few minutes. Appetizers came out first, had the beer battered chees curds, delicious! I went with a burger and my wife had the tilapia tacos both wer cooked to perfection and was too much to finish and had to leave with a to-go box.
Hostess was attentive even when the bar picked up, somehwere around 10:00. Not many other people were dining, we might have actually been the only ones, but it was still very comfortable. After finishing the meal we stayed to have another cocktail.

Reasonable prices. Excellent homemade chicken soup and apple pie. My wife's salmon was among the best she ever ate. My pork chops were cooked to perfection. We were a group of 6 - a monthly dinner group and we pick different places to try and then rerun those selections too. We had a varied selection of entrees and each one was excellent. Meat loaf was good. Salmon was good. Pork chops were good. Tilapia was good. The sides offered were fresh and good. There was great consistency in food preparation. And the deserts were good too.
