Long story real short, service and food was wonderful. Started with Blue Oysters, half dozen each....yummy.....We split their iceberg lettuce salad , both had steaks with the Shannon topping....she their grass fed filet and I the bone in , both cooked just right....topped it off with their chocolate dome dessert.... The steaks were truly the best anyone has had; the Brussel sprouts need further attention-needed a steak knife to cut. Ordered two Martinis but requested gin was only available for one; no mint for mojitos after bartender took the order.

With mozzarella and tomatoes as a starter. Glass of Malbec. Creme Brûlée for desert. Service was excellent. Just the right amount of friendliness if you know what I mean. On second thougt, this meal was second only to the one I had after the Air Force stuck me in the woods for a week with nothing to eat but an ant. But that was only a bag of m & m peanuts. The macaroni and cheese is the best you'll ever eat and the most "grown up" version you'll find. Complete selection of appetizers, salads, sides, beef and seafood. Light on chicken or pork. The place seems recently updated at least more that I expected for an establishment that has been around as long as this one. If you're a baseball fan, the decor is heaven because you have a view of all the greats!
On the downside, wish the steak had been grilled or seared and our server was just average. But I will go back. The prices are just a tad on the high side for the quality, but not enough to be off-putting. 4 out of 5 stars for a date night or with a group of friends.

Paul the waiter was helpful without being overbearing. We spent 3 hours there, cocktails, salad, meal ended with great desert and coffee.

My wife's meal was good but mine was not. The caesar salad was bland, the dressing lacked real flavor. My ribeye was overcooked. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium to medium well and also lacked flavor. Last we were disappointed in the desert menu. It looks like they hired a new person out of Pastry school and they were trying too hard. Everything on the sheet was over embellished. Sometimes a simple desert is called for, a plain piece of NY Cheesecake.
