The lunch menu is fairly simple, but each item had a gourmet twist and everything tasted delicious. This was a business lunch and the privacy a booth offers was essential.
The service and food were both very good and complemented the lunch meeting.
This is why I continue to use Midtown!

Really enjoyed the wine menu, with lots of quality on the low end of the pricing spectrum. Had a business dinner there on a Monday night - full restaurant, vibrant setting, and rave reviews from everyone on their Espresso & Chile rubbed New York Strip!

The service is generally okay but is very dependent upon which server you get. The seafood dishes are always good and the changing menu keeps it interesting. I ordered one of the special appetizers, a caprese-like salad (with the addition of cucumber and fennel.) The fresh red and yellow tomatoes were delicious, plenty of mozzarella, a good balsamic vinaigrette and the salad was quite generous in size. For my entree I had duck breast confit with spatzle. Initially it came out luke warm but when I mentioned this to the server he took it back for reheating. That improved the meal. Wines were unexciting for the most part (at least wines available by the glass) and rather overpriced. I decided to go with a cocktail (or you could order beer.) I have business meetings at Midtown Grille not only because of the quality of its menu offerings and its convenient location, but also because of the accommodations of the type that was granted to my request for privacy for this particular lunch meeting.
