  • "My wife and I took my cousin and his fiancé from out of town to dinner. They wanted steak and we thought Mickey Mantles would be a good place. The appetizer of hot cheese on crispy bread was good, unfortunately that was the only thing they got right. Both women ordered filets cooked medium. They came out charred and I'm being generous saying medium well. My cousin ordered a strip medium rare which came out medium well too. I ordered the bone in filet medium rare. I received a bone in rib eye that was burnt to leather. The au gratin potatoes where eatable, but nothing special. The fried okra was soggy pretty gross. The grilled zucchini was also eatable for the most part, although a few pieces where to burnt too. Go anywhere else."

  • "I was a bit concerned about steak flavor after reading some reviews before my visit there, but they were happily unfounded. Unlike Cattleman's (which I have always deemed flavorless), both the ribeye and the fillet were excellent! We also had the lamb chops - incredibly good. I rather enjoyed trying all three types of fillet sauces as well, which our waiter was happy to accommodate. Overall, great service and food. As far as ambiance, we had an early dinner (about 6) and it was very quiet, but noise picks up quickly with the addition of even a few more parties. If you are looking for romance, you should probably start early or plan on an active environment."

  • "Pro: Steak, meat, anything that is in that category is perfect. The dessert is to die for. The waiter was attentive and informative, the place was rich with great valet parking service. They took a picture of our group after we ate, REMEMBER to give an address to them after the meal so they can email the picture! Cons: The seafood could have been better, nothing significant noted except for the crabs. Somehow, anything that is crab related in the restaurant was delectable. Lobster bisque was horrid! It was bitter and have a trace of burning vodka aftertaste.The shrimp was overcooked, leaving it too tough. We unfortunately got seated in the most poorly lighted table possible."

  • "We dined here with friends. We knew they were expensive and we don't mind paying for a great meal. The waiter was a total snot though, the food was definitely not worth the price. Our ticket for 4 people was almost $400 and I seriously have gotten MUCH better food at Toby Keith's for less than half the price. I definitely won't eat here again. And you can't hear the people at your own table. The noise level is ridiculous."

  • "Mickey Mantle's is always a good place to eat. We try not to go too much because it's a bit pricey but after this visit, my husband and I have decide we should go more often. Their food is always delicious. Their steaks are always so flavorful, their lobster risotto is so good, and it is only in this restaurant that my husband would rather order fish than steak for his main course. We will definitely go back soon!"

  • "Great food, awesome service, and clean. We enjoyed the entire experience there and will certainly go back when we find ourselves in OKC wanting to go out and have a good time. The restaurant was lively, lots of mixture of business and couples dining it appeared. This is an upscale restaurant and the food was very well prepared. My steak, though pricey was done right the first time, well seasoned, and was good. My wife and her mother loved their fish and chicken they ordered, and the sides were delicious and generous. Great evening, great food, awesome service - need to know anything more?"

  • "I am a HUGE Yankees fan so this is a little biased but this place didn't disappoint, a lot of memorabilia, unique Mickey Mantle atmosphere good food and excellent service. Frank our waiter was one of the best servers I've had in my life of dining experience. His menu knowledge and recommendations were spot on. I hope to be back in OKC to dine again sometime soon."

  • "I would never recommend anyone from Australia go near this place. I can't comment on the food as we didn't have US govt certified ID and were denied admittance. How could I have that when I am an Australian citizen ? My son and I produced Aust government certified ID in the form of driving licences which have our photo, date of birth and the expiry date of the licence on it. This is the first time this has happened after coming to America well over 100 times for more than 25 years. The ID seems to be sufficient for other bars/restaurants. I use it to hire cars over here, check into hotels and fly without a problem. It's a very poor reflection on the restaurant and its management."

  • "The salad was great, the baked potato was great, the steak tasted very bland. It was a nice tender 10 oz fillet, cooked just right, but very plain tasting and bland. It was disappointing to pay $45 for a disappointing flavor. Then when we (my dad and I ordered the same thing) were driving home we realized the problem! We had ordered the peppercorn fillet, but they must have given us the regular fillet. I wish we had been able to taste the peppercorn steak, it probably would have changed our experience for the better."

  • "3rd visit to Mickey Mantle's; disappointing but not because of the food. Had an early dinner and the restaurant was so dark I needed a flashlight to read the menu. I like to people watch so noise doesn't bother me but I had a hard time hearing the waiter. What I felt though is that the wait staff always pushes the most expensive dishes. Their favorites are the seafood tower or the most expensive steak. That I do not care for. It happened last visit as well but I thought that was just the particular waiter. Food is always good but this time the visit was disappointing."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary here. Our waitress, Sierra, was attentive, courteous, polite and knowledgeable. We were seated immediately and were offered an extensive wine list and house specials. We started off with house salads that were fresh and crisp. The Bleu Cheese dressing was incredible. We both ordered steaks which were cooked to perfection. After dinner our waitress offered to buy our dessert because it was our anniversary. We had a delicious ice cream pie along with two glasses of port wine. The hostess took a photo of our special evening and had a copy for us before we left. Thank you for a wonderful evening."

  • "Hits a home run on the food. If you don't like background noise it's probably not your place. Patrons really shouldn't bring kids. The so called adults are loud and, if you do bring kids, be prepared for them to learn some new language. It's a little overpriced for what is similarly available in the Metroplex. I only go there, maybe once a year."

Our waiter was on point, very attentive and we are more than pleased with his service. The hostess wasn't as pleasent, no greeting and welcome to a well known name restaurant. The noice level was a little loud, we had our private booth yet we could hear everything around us. Our overall exprienced is rated good due to a few small things but food was amazing, server was delightful. thank you!"

  • "Want a dining experience that never misses??? You can always find it at Mantle's. Been herer more times than I can count, mostly for business, but for personal is even better. The food is always great and the service is even better. Can't find better salmon in the city, and the lamb can't be beat. I don't even need to mention the steaks, but the last Strip I had here was the best one I'd ever had. Maybe I was lucky the one time or maybe they're just that good. I'd bet on the latter. Don't pass up a chance to go!"
