It was a beautiful beach day as we sat at our table and watched
the surfers swimmers families and friends frolic in the waves.
Our waiter very attentive and the food was good.
Please don't expect to be in a hurry as our dining experience
was over 2 and a half hours.

The glass walls fully open so you are able to enjoy the lovely little beach as you dine. Be sure to ask for a table next to the windows/beach.
The ceasar salad was made table side and was one of the best we have had anywhere. The staff is very experienced in fine dinning. Fabulous spotMy husband and I are foodies and REALLY liked this restaurant. We were in Oahu for 5 nights and made all our reservations through open table, selecting high scoring restaurants with good food and wine lists. This place met all our expectations and the bartender makes the best martini's on the island! Food was superb, and tied for the highest rating of the 5 restaurants we visited.

Although pricey, it never disappoints. Excellent presentation and food, from the artichoke bisque, to the mahimahi en papillote, to the apple banana flambe. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to go! We were guided in the good seat which should have been a reservation just one-day before that and was able to watch the sunset.
As for all dishes, as for the taste, serving it was fantastic.
The waiting on customers was the most high level, too.

Service is friendly, efficient and professional again, one of those things that is unique....
The decor is refined and elegant and the added feature of 'live music' with dinner appropriate selections adds to a romantic atmosphere.....

I went to Mechel's with my friend last weekend, and had a great experience in Hawaii!
Though we were late for my reserved time, the waiter prepare another table for us because other customers had taken our reserved table. The new table was really nice to see the sunset and the seaside view!
We shared 4 food, oisters, escargot, bisk(lobster soup), steaks(2.2lb). Every food is delicious, especially bisk.

My only issue with MIchel's was the noise level. The both times my husband and I visited Michel's there was a large party of Japanese guests. My table was right along with open window with a lovely view of the sea and sunset (reserve a table between 530 and 630 to see the sun drop below the horizon).
The food was very good. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Thirmador which was very good. My dining partner had the Rack of Lamp. To start, the Losbster Bisque is a must, creamy and rich. Service was excellent on all accounts.
