Delicious food with excellent service. Johnny, the maitre'd is very personable. Sometimes we go just me and my husband, sometimes with friends, and sometimes with our kids. Has been a great experience every time. The "burnt broccoli" is out of this world and the after dinner cookies (they're on the house) are divine. They can make a good drink too.

the food and service is amazing - we had bake clams - the appetizer comes with 8 clams but we were 3 sharing so I asked for 9. No problem and absolutely delicious. My mom and I shared the Osso Bucco which was to die for. Huge portion with incredible risotto. It was plenty. I ordered a side of spinach but it wasn't necessary. The service is always outstanding

It was our first time and this well known Brooklyn restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the food was delicious. We liked the complimentary cheese, olives and salami along with delicious breads which gave us the time to really review the menu and specials. All at our table were happy from the start with the baked clams, clams in red sauce and sautéed artichoke through the main dishes of eggplant parm, shrimp oreganato, shrimp fra diavalo and short ribs. Although we were really too full for dessert, we could not resist a taste of the house made pistachio tartufo served with blackberries and whipped cream. That one dessert did the trick. We will be back.

Michael's has been a staple in our neighborhood forever! You get consistently great food that you can count on! The service is generally good even when it's crowded (which is most of the time). A solid winner for good italian food!

We went here because we had won a gift certificate at a charity auction. It is a pity that we do not live nearby because the food was top-notch. We loved the large raw clams - all too often we are served much smaller ones that should only go with linguini. The complimentary olive, provolone and sweet sausage tray was generous and much appreciated. Try the pistachio tartuffo for dessert and you will leave smiling!

I really enjoyed myself as well as my date. The service was very very good and the food was excellent. I loved that there was piano music playing making the atmosphere very romantic. Everyone around seemed to be enjoying themselves and though it was a Tuesday night there was quit a few people and that says something.
