  • "Our waiter Marciel made the meal the experience to remember. We had the prefix including the tuna and the oyster soup. Both outstanding and the wine parings were unbelievably perfect. For our entre we selected the lobster pot pie and filet. If we could back and do it again would not have filet, it was well prepared and good but just steak. The pairings again were spot on. Actually thought about going again the next night for full tasting menu. Will go again."

  • "I ate here before a show and the food was spectacular. The goat cheese on my salad might have been the best I have ever tasted. My girlfriends soup was so good from the bit I tasted. The thing that stood out to me was the lobster pot pie. I was in heaven eating it. I wish I hadn't had so much food earlier in the day so I could have tried the dessert. I give everything 5 stars except ambiance since there was a very annoying couple sitting next to us. They were making out the whole time and it was just awkward and weird."

  • "Had aI had been wanting to try Michael Mina's for a long time, and it was well worth the wait. Outstanding, friendly, professional service, and the food was top notch. My boyfriend said his salmon was the best he'd ever had, and we eat a lot of salmon. I had the sole, which was highly recommended, and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. The place is a bit loud, so maybe best for a group dinner. But I still thoroughly enjoyed the evening."

  • "We reserved a table for 5 for an important business client dinner. The waiter got into an argument with our guest from Spain about how could it be called a steak and seafood Resturant if you didn't serve lobster. It was so unprofessional. Most of us ate the filet which for the price was underwhelming. The vegetables were undercooked and virtually in edible. Clearly it was the worst $900 meal I ever hosted. Avoid this place unless you have no other alternative."

  • "Poor lighting at the table great waiter provided a flashlight so I could read the menu. Ahi Tartare appetizer is to die for. Shrimp tortellini was so so, no flavor, squishy. Ahi entree was not tender, chunky and somewhat tough, poor quality. Great dessert and try the espresso martini vodka, WOW."

  • "I took a solo trip to Vegas for the purposes of trying all the places I wanted to eat at and Michael Mina was near the top of the list. The atmosphere is a little stuffy for my normal tastes and could use an update but it was easily overlooked. I was disappointed with the service at the start as I was basically ignored by my server ... maybe he didn't notice people who ate alone. However, noticing this, the sommelier jumped in and personally served me ... after ripping into the server. From here things were incredible throughout each course and the wine was also perfectly paired. The sea bass literally blew my mind! I will return the first chance I get."

  • "We ordered a couple of the prix fixe menu for a table of five people. The first three dishes came out in the timely manner and were delicious. Then, service and the food began to taper. The timing was of the arrival of the food was off as sometimes we waited up to 40 minutes for our next dish. Because we were on a schedule in order to make a show in time, I brought it to the attention of the manager. The food then came out very quickly but was prepared inadequately sometimes charred, overcooked, undercooked, and even cold. The staff was apologetic about this issue, however, I expected better food and service because I enjoy the other Michael Mina locations such as the one in San Francisco, just wouldn't recommend the one in Las Vegas."

  • "Michael Mina is, without a question, the best seafood restaurant in Las Vegas, bar none. It was equally good when we lived in San Francisco. The ambiance is beautiful in the middle of the Bellagio's Conservatory with window tables overlooking the Bellagio's water fountain. The service was efficient, attentive and even humorous, thanks to our excellent server, Miguel Angel. The menu is creative and the plates were well prepared, superbly flavored and with unusual sides. Michael Mina even has a good selection of wines by the glass, if you are not ready for a full bottle, well priced. In general,while on the expensive side ($ 75 to $100 per person, depending on drinks) it is well worth it. Highly recommended for a very special treat."

  • "Throughly uninspired execution. We had the tasting menu thinking we would be able to enjoy different flavors of the cuisine. We were soooo disappointed. Only the first course (caviar) was special. So much of the dinner had been clearly pre-plated. It definitely had that feel of feeding the masses, like a big convention banquet in a 4star hotel, not haute cuisine. Wine pairings were good. Service was sleepy and slow, except for the sommelier. The ambiance felt like the 90's. I know Vegas and the Bellagio are about glitz, but this felt washed out and in even worse taste. We're not normally whiners, but we are foodies, so we've had some darn good meals out there. We wish we had just gone out for some good Chinese and craft ale."

We're finally seated in a very average room and table. The only thing that saved the evening was the food. Fantastic. Would go back for that. But I. San Francisco.   • "My date and I dined here over the President's Day weekend. Both of us enjoyed the Tasting Menu with some self selected wines. The hostess and bartender were both wonderful while we waited for our table - the room was beautifully lit with terrific art and fresh towers all about. Our server was a 15yr veteran of the restaurant and he was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was terrific - 4 out of 5 stars for some timing issues, but the highlights were the Seabass, and veal w/ Foie Gras. I thought it to be a very good value for the price paid ($115 food only) and would look forward to dining here again. Well done!"

  • "We definitely planned to spend our Valentine Dinner here while we were in Las Vegas. We enjoyed their Valentine tasting menu. All the course were delicious, with the slight exception of the lobster pot pie. I know he is famous for this dish so we were really excited about trying it. It was very delicious but the lobster inside was very very tough, which was kind of surprising to us. The broth in the pie tasted like a really really good lobster bisque. What really made us want to come here again was the phyllo crusted sole and that definitely did not disappoint, so delicious. Overall we had a fantastic dinner and enjoyed the wonderful service we received."

  • "we had the signature menu. perhaps that was a mistake. the food seem prepared in advance . it had lost its fresh taste. many of the dishes needed seasoning and were bland. the lobster pot pie was bordering on awful. watery broth with tough, tasteless chunks of supposed lobster and two huge chunks of potato. very disappointing. the sea bass needed lots more flavoring. The desserts and the beef course were very good. Sad to say, we will not return."

  • "The food was good. We had 4 people in our party and all had the tasting menus (3 signatures and 1 seasonal). I think the food was a little too hyped up for me, but I did enjoy all of the dishes and presentations. We had one shellfish (and mild nut) food allergy (all allergies mild enough not to mention them at the outset, but just order other dishes). Since lobster was part of the tasting menu, we asked for a replacement and the waiter and chef were extremely accommodating. During the meal, a dish with pine nuts came out. At this time the mild nut allergy was mentioned. From that point on, nut dishes were also substituted. As you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber, the service was attentive and impeccable. Well done!"

The servers were attentive, polite, respectful, and listened to my special requests! (I am allergic to eggs and they made sure to go through the entire menu and let me know what all I could and could not eat). It was wonderful. I will definitely be going here next time I visit Las Vegas."

  • "I was really looking forward to this meal and was really let down. There was 8 of us total and two of the three sea bass were undercooked (literally cold inside). When I told the waiter he acted like it was my problem and didn't even apologize. I waited for over an hour for cold fish and no apology...really! The drink selection was EXTREMELY limited. They gave me an iPad with 4 cocktails and limited beers. Just like the rest of the place, all flash and non substance!"
