When we ask a glass of wine the server suggest the two most expensive wines of the list!! ($30 for each). I feel to try to take advantage of us. We are currently customers of Bourbon Steak in Aventura and never never had happened before."

Surprisingly the food was also very reasonably priced. Definitely the place to be! Such a cool place. And definitely have to try the burgers! Incredible."

  • " I was a guest at the Fontainebleau and invited family members to dine with my husband and myself. The experience was so disappointing! The restaurant was so dark and the food was very overpriced. I'm an ex-chef from New York and don't mind spending my hard earned money, but this was way too much. The food was just okay. Nothing special at all. Especially annoying were the staff members constantly urging us to try items from the tasting carts...the bill would have been even higher. Our server did not offer suggestions or seem knowledgeable about the menu or wine list."

  • "Chef Michael Mina has done it again! A fabulous place, with unique, scrumptious small plates circling the dining room on dim sum carts. The menu is fantastic, too, with great variety. We had ten or twelve different items at our table, and each was more delicious than the last! A real treat and a welcome addition to the Miami dining scene. The entire staff is very attentive, and service is wonderful. The Asst. GM, Rogelio, is incredibly warm and caring and was a great presence in the dining room. Chef even came out to say hello, as we are veterans of many of the Mina establishments. A fantastic team in a great environment! We can't wait to return to this absolutely splendid restaurant!"

  • "Me and my boyfriend went for dinner here because all Other restaurants were booked. Not really expecting it to be amazing but the food was over the top good! I had a turkey burger and it was juicy and soft and nicely seasoned. I haven't stopped thinking about it since! We got the Napoleon for dessert and wow it impressed both of us. Really unique Napoleon but I have never had better! Recommend! Kinda expensive it was 110 for a party of 2! And also the servers come around with carts full of appetizers. It is kind of annoying because you feel Pressured to get one but you don't wanna seem rude saying no. Not too fond of the appetizer rounds but everything else was great!!!!"

  • "Nothing impressive, the small plates that come on the cart were far better than anything on the menu. We liked the tuna tartare and the salmon shashmi, the cod beignets were nothing special. From the main menu we ordered the black cod, which had a very strong flavor (not in a good way), the Mac and cheese was left "half-eaten" which rarely happens with Mac and cheese, the asparagus was okay...Overall very disappointing...I expected much more from Mina."

The entrees were delicious and if you want to try new things this is the place to go. However for my pallete I probably would go to the other restaurants on the property that all were spectacular. Also no free refills..."

  • "Food was SOLID. Best Filet, I have ever had, Fries were awesome. When your paying those kind of prices, everything needs to be good though, not just the food. Low Ceiling and dark, not the most beautiful dining area, so they really need to have TOP service to justify the price. IF they improve it, I would come back for sure."

  • "I went here on a recommendation from a friend and was disappointed. While the food was good and creative...there was nothing outstanding except the bananas Foster bread pudding. The Tim we chose from the cart was the worst of the offerings. Some kind of crab spring roll but we were hard pressed to taste or see any crab. Pigs ears appetizer was too hard to eat...may have caused dental problems. Entrees were some better. I chose the lobster pot pie on a friends recommendation but the crust was sadly soggy and the potatoes were undercooked and the few bites of lobster seemed embarrassed...for $24 I expected more. Sea bass and wagyu beef were much better."

  • "Great service and fabulous food, pared with a hip and fun scene, that is some of the things I like from the Fontainebleau and Michael Mina 74 is no exception. The menu looks short but its fine if you add into the equation the 3 carts that offer different items and enrich the experience of small plates dinner. My favorites where the Lamb meat balls and the Lamb chops, you can see that the chef takes care on selecting his products the meat quality is fantastic!! and cooked to perfection. The duck confitte was also a table favorite and my son loved the fries and pork belly with grilled peach."

I had looked at making a reservation many times, but I thought it might be expensive for our normal Fri/Sat night out, but it turned out no more expensive than our normal dinners out. AMAZING food - good menu but also had a great cart service with some additional appetizers that were delicious. Great wine. Good ambiance. And, of course, fun people watching at the Fontainebleau. Be prepared - you may fill up on all the tasty appetizers/shared plates and need to take most of your main meal home as leftovers! We're excited to go back and try even more of their tasty offerings."

For the prices you might expect the food quality to be much higher. With the exception of the salmon burger I was quite underwhelmed. Not only that but the service was lackluster. No energy. Lack of food knowledge. I Won't be coming back here."

  • "This was one of my favorite restaurants. I was looking forward to another great meal but they changed the concept and the menu. My favorite dishes are gone. My husband's favorite dish is gone also. We both tried new items and were underwhelmed. The service is still great but unless they bring back the old menu, we will not be back."

  • "We came for dinner one night while guests at Fontainebleau. We tried two different burgers, the lobster mac & cheese, and a couple cocktails. All the food and drinks were great, but it was overpriced for what it was and it was oddly quiet and empty inside for 8:30pm on a Thursday night. The service was very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed the experience, but weren't blown away by it. Worth trying if you're okay with overpaying and it's convenient."

  • "This place has great food, but has some major areas to improve upon. 1.) Finish the space, it still feels like a club 2.) Figure out who you want to be. The menu is all over the place. 3.) Ambience is weird. Bachlorette parties, date nighters, families with kids (which I have nothing against) and vacationers still in their pool attire. Time to enforce a dress code. 4.) Carts with the food are gross. No one wants to eat food that has been sitting out being passed around, EW. In short, we won't be back again, the super nice staff alone can't save this place :( Sorry. It needs a total menu overhaul and some ambiance improvement. Best of luck."

  • "I went to dinner here with my daughter while staying at the Fontainebleu. The food was okay nothing special. The service was good. But it was very irritating to get a bill where each refill of my daughter's soda was charged at $5 each. Charging $5 for each refill really? I guess I should have asked if they were free but I can't remember ever being charged anywhere else for refills."
