It is such a great place to go when friends and family are in town. You get a great steak and service, all in a fantastic NYC setting - Grand Central Terminal. My only recommendation would be that they implement a dress code (no tennis shoes, shorts). It's a beautiful restaurant and to look across the floor and see shorts and sneakers brings down the ambiance a little. The service, from the time you walked in, until you left was very attentive. My party had a great time. We will be back! I was little disappointed because I stated that my son & his fiance both had birthdays on the same day, When someone called me that day ton confirm, I asked if they read my comments and she told me yes. So I asked if there could be a piece of cake for them and was told no problem.But when we finished our meal, I was just given the check. I didn't want to ask in front of my son, so I just let it go. I did have flowers delivered and when we sat down and were comfortable, the waiter brought them to her. She was very surprised as she wasn't expecting them. We asked to be served family style with a variety of veggies as our main food group. We also had the mac n cheese which is a must try. We enjoyed catching up, drinking and dining at a leisurely pace in beautiful Grand Central Terminal above the muffled din of the hustle and bustle of commuters. The steaks were cooked to perfection! We didn't realize when we ordered sides just how big they were and ended up wasting a lot of food! Oh well, we will know for next time. And I love the convenience - I hop off the train, have dinner, and hop back on to get home.
