"Once again we had a terrific experience! We were fortunate to be seated in Billy and Denise's section, as they took great care of us, with Jennifer pitching in. Our food was delicious and our service was even better. Really pleased that I asked for extra veggies to be added to the salad (I'm on Weight Watchers) and my request was easily accommodated. Much appreciated! Everything was delightful and we can't wait to return."

"I have dined here twice now and both times have been lackluster. No real complaints with service, nothing extraodrinary though. Ambiance is nice, loved all the pictures of KC from back in the day. My biggest complaint for this restaurant is the food. I had fish and chips my first outing and the KC Auctioneer sandwich recently. The fish was delicios but the fries left a lot to be desired. The auctioneer is one of those sandwiches that has a lot of meet in the middle but work your way to the crust and its just soggy bread. With the KC auctioneer I had fries and ate just a few before I decided it wasn't worth the calories to put up with the taste, they appear to be fresh cut french fries but they are fried to the point of soggy."

"Our Easter brunch was really good. Got our favorite big round table for six - plus a highchair. Buffet with eggs, ham, fruits, veggies...all the stuff you expect. Plus kitchen-made-to-order pancakes. Great service. Very attentive, fast and friendly."

"Our family of three (mom,dad, and 11 yr. old) went to Michael Forbes for Easter Brunch after Mass. We arrived early for our 11:45 reservation and were seated immediately. The server was excellent with just the right amount of table time. There was a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items on the buffet. We really had a pleasant brunch. (and this sure beats fighting the crowds out south in those larger restaurants.)"

"This once wonderful place is now simply awful. While the mussels and catfish remain as good as we remember them some dishes can't hardly be eaten. The Baby Back Ribs are simply dreadful. Whatever spice they are overusing is simply harsh on the palate. They seved something call Chocolate Fudge cake that just couldn't be swallowed. The prime rib is okay but just. The Chicken fried chicken is mediocre. The delivery of food from the kitchen was very slow.

The service was actually quite good and we really felt bad for the waitress who had to deliver such poor offerings."

"The cod fish & chips is great
Salmon salad & ahi tuna salads are wonderful. Pot roast soup is wonderful.
Portobella mushroom appetizer not the geatest, in taste or presentation.
Service was friendly, attentive, very pleasant.
They don't have herbal tea! (hoping they will soon add that!)
This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. We've been there 2-3 times..It's a great little friendly restaurant. Great casual dining. Definitely worth a try, and worth going back!! Warm, friendly, hospitable."

"I'm all for keeping a clean restaurant, but when the vacuum goes by 2 times during my dinner, I'm a little concerned at the need. Our server was fun and spunky but lacked adequate knowledge to recommend good drink choices. The food was good, but nothing spectacular & I expected a bit more than what I got. Drinks were very weak - had 4, should've felt something, but left more sober than when I got there. It would take an awful lot of coaxing to get us back here - more than likely won't return. Be careful with parking on the street! The drivers side mirror on my car was completely gone when I returned to my car after dinner."
