  • "Everyone I met and spoke to on the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, timing was great, ambiance was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the future!"

  • "I had only been here once before years ago, but it left a lasting impression on me. I LOVED that the waiters and waitresses all have beautiful voices and sing throughout the night near the piano. The piano player was amazing, played as if it were effortless. I took my dad here for Father's Day and celebrated my birthday here this last Sunday. Note: apparently the singing mainly takes place during dinner shift, but we were lucky enough to have one of the dinner servers working the lunch shift! There are not very many restaurants that I would consider "fun," but this one knocks it out of the park. Love that it's family owned and run as well! Fun fun fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves!"

  • "We enjoyed the dining experience again. The food remains the best, the service and our waiter was on point. The entertainment makes the restaurant experience that much more enjoyable. "

  • "I went there for dinner. Service was very good. They checked back with me often to see if there was anything I wanted or needed. The food was good and a decent size portions. I could not eat all my dinner. Took leftovers home. Waitresses and waiters sing songs during the evening as someone plays the piano. Was very surprised with the VERY GOOD and FREE entertainment while eating dinner. Will definitely return to this restaurant again to eat."

  • "My boyfriend & I had driven passed Miceli's when we lived in Studio City but never made it in so when we saw an Amazon Local Deal for Miceli's we decided to finally try it. Our reservation was on a Sunday night & upon entering we were greeted by the roar of people talking loudly over a live piano & singing. The servers took turns singing & although they all had great voices, the volume could have been turned down a bit to allow for dinner conversation. There were so many families w/kids; it felt like we were at a Chuck E. Cheese. We had the chicken lasagna, meatballs in red sauce, minestrone soup & bottle of Miceli's private label chianti. The food & wine were OK but nothing stood out. Well, at least we know now & can stop wondering."

  • "If you love show tunes and good Italian food, this is the place to go. The waiters sing and service your food. It is lots of fun and entertaining. "

  • "We had a wonderful dinner at Miceli's as the waiter was very accommodating and provided good service, he was also very talented as all the entertainers were. The Pizza and salad were delicious but the Pasta was OK. The ambiance was very reminiscent of an Italian restaurant in the theater district in New York. The piano player was also great. The bus boy was a bit cranky. It is kid friendly providing children the opportunity to hear Opera in the most wonderful way of introducing them to good music. We had the most delightful evening and look forward to returning soon."

  • "Listed as kid friendly, but really a bit too loud for kids, no kids menu and no paper, crayons or coloring page. This would be a great addition if they want to be considered kid friendly."

  • "Ambiance is great, its trendy place to eat. Parking is terrible, but the place is easy to find. Prices were okay, although food was salty, so I was a little disappointed. Also, I don't know if was because a used a LivingSocial coupon, but when they brought me my check, they automatically added 18% to my total. Gratuity for food and service was not worth it. 10% kind of place."

  • "Checked in a little before 8 pm reservation. Was told it would be a few minutes and went to bar. Sat for 1/2 hour was not called. Noticed that people that cam in after us were being seated. Checked with attendant found out they forgot about us as they asked if I had a reservation again. Waited another 15 minutes before being seated."

  • "We were very disappointed with our waitress. Although she sang beautifully , it appeared she was just going through the motions as a server. It was our first time at Micelli's and she did not explain if food came with soup or salad etc... She did not ask us if we wanted more drinks bread etc... We literally had to grab her in order to get service. "

  • "For so many years, I had heard how great this restaurant was and I finally decided to try it but I was overall disappointed. Our waiter was nice but we hardly saw him and when we did, we had to call him over to our table for service which does not make for a good experience. Caesar salad he recommended was really good, but way too much dressing in it. We opted for the Miceli's specialty pizza with thin crust and the pizza dough seemed like cardboard. I couldn't believe it given this place is so reputable and has been there for years. I'm not sure I'd go back given this experience but if I did, I'd definitely order the Caesar salad with dressing on the side. "

  • "Haven't been here in years. Food was good, not great, but it is so much fun. The wait staff burst into song to entertain everyone while dining. Can't find places as much fun as this one anywhere in L.A. Perfect for groups, family, out of town guests, or just for two that want a fun night on the town"

  • "The food is average, typical Italian fare. Nothing of real interest. Lasagna was served warm...coffee was delivered warm. It is a no returner."

  • "I guess I had too much expectations, and should had asked my server what Miceli's is known for; because it wasn't for there lasagna, which was over cooked and the ravioli was cold and drowning in sauce, the place was so charming, but the food fell short. "

  • "Food was so so served luke warm ,this place is best for groups celebrating occasions that like the wait staff to sing jingles at their table for their particular event. food is definitely a second thought here. High prices reflects entertainment value not the food quality."

  • "It was our first time at this restaurant. We had a reservation, we waited a little over 20 minutes though. But once seated, our waiter apologized for the wait and said the owner would like to buy our first round of drinks for us. That made our night. They are very attentive and care about their customers !"

  • "We love Miceli's. The food is really good, the place has wonderful character (unlike many minimalist restaurants these days) and the service is great. Plus, the waiters sing and have terrific voices. GREAT place to bring people from out of town, or to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or special occasion."

  • "Super talented singers who also are your waiters make for a great time. The food is not the greatest for my taste. Not much different than any other italian fare you could find elsewhere. You are paying (not inexpensive) for the ambience and entertainment not the food."

  • "We had not been to Micelis in a couple years and the food was not like it used to be. It was just okay for being on the pricey end. Very dissapointed. It used to be excelent. Will not be going back unfortunately."

  • "I have been coming here for more than 30 years for special occasions. Still the same great service, taste, and priced just right. Authentic Italian cooking and the singing waiters were right on key."

  • "Love this restaurant! I've enjoyed every visit! If you want to feel like your having dinner in Italy his is the place! Its also fun with the singing Waiters and Waitress! I love Clam pasta but son ordered 1/2 ravioli and spaghett with marinara sauce and felt like he got a kiddy plate, no flavor, I ended up giving him my meal. I wish I had asked the waitress to bring a side of meatballs and sausage. the good thing is he does want to go back and try something else because he loves the place :-)"

  • "I decided to make it birthday dinner for my nephew turning 28. Not a great choice for someone who is gluten intolerant---but I figured there must be something he could eat. He chose a salad with Ranch dressing--said it was the best Ranch he had ever had.He ordered the vegetable parmiagana--with extra veggies as he couldnt eat the pasta. It was a BIG bowl of veggies--properly cooked. He had extra sauce on the side. And--he could only finish half-- I ordered the eggplant--which is always good--but--my side of pasta was ice cold. The waiter had to sing after he brought our food--so--I opted to just take it home for lunch with the rest of my eggplant rather than send back--I hate waste. I have always loved Miceli's--been going there for years.."

  • "I think the best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance....not the food. The food is mediocre. Although it's not bad I have just been to so many other places in the area that have much better food. It's a fun atmosphere and environment, but if you are looking for really good italian food this is not the place to go."

  • "A group of us went just for a night out, and it turned out to be one of our new favorite places. Very good, very authentic Italian food... Super nice and talented staff... And every patron there was having a good time and sported a smile from ear to ear. Will we be back? Absolutely!"

  • "I've been here several times in the past with very good reviews. On our last visit though the general consensus among the 5 of at our table was that the food was only ok with nothing really good to say about it. It was disappointing and a let down after making arraingments to gather a small group together and with high hopes of having a good tiem with a great dinner. Did not happen."

  • "We went to Miceli's for our Anniversary. They gave us a really nice booth. We had some cocktails which were great. Service was really good. I had pizza & my husband had lasagna. We both really enjoyed our meal. The servers sing really well. We had a great time. I can't wait to go back."

  • "This was my first time here and it was so good! The rolls melt in your mouth. I had the chicken francaise, and let's just say I did not have leftovers to bring home with me. The prices are very affordable. Also, all the of the wait staff can perform and that was so cool to watch as well."

  • "The best thing here are the singing waiters and waitresses, along with a great piano man. The traditional Italian menu is uninspired, pizza was disappointing, lasagna just OK. Fresh baked rolls were undercooked and mushy-doughy. We did appreciate the nice antipasto salad, and that the wine list has some good wines at reasonable prices."

  • "Here is a chance to experience singing waiters while dining on Italian classics like chicken parmesan and spaghetti bolognese. The food is good if not great, but the ambience and the decor make it a fun experience for all ages."

  • "Fun Singing servers and great piano player. Online reservation did not seem to work since we were put on a list when we got there but after 25 minutes we were sat at a great table next to the piano and singers. Fun watching the performances front and center."

  • "I've been to Miceli's several times and plan to go back at every opportunity. Delicious food, good service, fun atmosphere. This restaurant is full of energy and can't help but put a smile on your face. If I had to search for a negative, the only thing worth mentioning is that they seem to have a tendency to forget that you mentioned celebrating a birthday, etc. Bene there twice for birthdays and they forgot about it. That was disappointing. Otherwise, WONDERFUL!"

  • "It's been many years since I last dined here and I recall it was all and only operatic music. What a shock when we showed up for my dad's 95th birthday it's now "Musical Theatre" including loud drums and Janis Joplin tunes. Great ambiance if you want to dine to loud and not great music. Horrible a ambience for a very old man's birthday. Our waiter was wonderful but the dour sourpuss hostess was unfriendly the moment I cheerfully said "hi". I guess I'd be unkind if I had to work in that racket."
