We were seated promptly a few minutes before our reservation time. The place was alive and very crowded which made it a bit warm but that was part of the atmosphere. The food was a bit different than the southern Italian fare I'm used to but it was excellent.
The only problem were the huge portions. That is not normally a complaint I have! We split a salad and it was delicous. Our entrees could easily have served two. I just wish I could have taken the leftovers as the linguini dish I had was very tasty.
We chose this restaurant since it was close to theater we were going to (Briar Street/Blue Man Group). It was nice to be greated by Chris at the door - the hosts and management are always so friendly. The peapod salad is a usual favorite, but I opted for the special salad of the day which included heart of palm and avocado and was not disappointed. The pasta with extra vegetables was too good and too large a portion for me to finish. If we weren't heading to theater right after dinner I would have requested a doggie bag.
