Veal Parmigana for my spouse was UGH! It was not quite as hard as shoe leather, but dried out, over cooked for a thin piece of veal but hot. I had Chicken Picatta was only warm;otherwise the Chicken had nice flavor. Atmosphere of restaurant was great...in fact very comfortably contemporary....pleasant colors, nice spacing on tables, and comfortable chairs. Katie the waitress was great. Very pleasant, helpful, she is truly an asset of Mia Carolina. I plan to return and hope the Kitchen quality control has improved.

Went on Valentine's Day. Service was kind of slow and nothing special. Entrée took a while to come out. Entree's were average taste. The hummus dip was excellent. Not sure if the fact that is was Valentine's Day had to do with the slow service but I would have thought they would have prepared for it. I honestly expected more.

We have been dining at Mia Carolina since it opened. It used to be a favorite standby and always crowded. I don't know what has happened but the quality of the food has deteriorated markedly. This is obvious not only by our food but bt the fall off in customers. We got a reservation in 15 minutes at 7 on a Saturday night. It was not crowded. Very disappointing.

Very nice. I had dinner with a group of friends that meet to celebrate birthdays each year. We draw names at Christmas for the year and this was my choice for the draw. The ages vary from 92-58. This evening the birthday"girl" was 83 and sure if you ask the server she would not have suspected her age. We were there on a Tues evening middle of Jan so we were one of few dining. The server was wonderful and realized our desire to make an evening of it and did not hurry us which we did appreciate. The apps were the best part. I think folks like to have variety and always look for spots with hearty apps and consider adding menu with 1/2 size portions so folks can try more items! Everyone please and all will return.

I'm very fond of this restaurant. The food is very good. The sea food risotto is terrific. Although listed as an appetizer, the portion is big enough for a main course. Also, they serve one of the best veal chops in the area. Lovely pastas and salads. Certainly worth a little drive out in the country.

The food was good as usual. Most times I get the veal Parmesan because I don't cook it at home. I find that the veal is usually harder around the edges rather than tender. Maybe the veal should be left a little thicker than pounding it too thin. This won't stop me from returning. A friend of mine called to tell me the personal pizza is delicious too. May have to try that the next time.

This was our first time. we were not impressed. The ambiance is nice/casual, the service is nice/indifferent, the food is good to fair. We liked the antipasti for two platter and Vitello Marsala entree. Other then that the food was bland. But for people who like south Italian (which is not us) it could be a good choice in the area.

Very Worthwhile. When a friend suggested we have lunch and I should select the restaurant, I immediately thought of Mia Carolina, where I had eaten dinner previously. I, and my guest were not disapointed..we were greeted, seated, and served by a very efficient young lady. Our meals were served in a timely manner, and we enjoyed a glass of wine suggested by our server, to compliment our lunch. Our experience was as expected...great.

The food is delicious although a little heavy on the sauces (veal marsala, veal saltimbocca, braised brisket) For a Thursday evening the bar was filled (1/2 price bottle wine night) with 30-40 somethings having dinner) Tables had everyone from 20's -80's) Love Mia Carolina!

Nice neighborhood gem. Nice decor and warm lighting. You could eat at the bar. Great wait staff. Friendly and efficient. Very accommodating. Yummy warm, homemade rolls. Try the calimari! Excellent pasta dishes. Specials that had a wide price range. In fact, you could just have wine and pizza and not put a big hole in your pocket. Or, you could splurge on some very good combination seafood dishes. A nice little dessert sampler was so much fun with delicious coffees. Wine suggestions offered with specials. No one rushed us. Lovely meal.

The food was just OK. I had the veal Parm and thought it was overcooked. Two drinks each added $35 to our tab. Thought drinks were too high. bread good but brought one roll each and had to ask for more. Salad had a very strong bite to it and I could ony eat half of it. Also, ala carte salad with their entree prices seemed unfair. We had such a great time with seeing some old friends that we did not dwell on the food, but driving home we decided it was just fair. Our bill was well over $100 which you don't mind at all if it's good, but it was not.

I brought my wife to Mia Carolina for a special occasion. She ordered the grilled filet with wild mushroom and lobster risotto. It was delicious and she couldn't get enough of it. The ambiance was very nice and the service was excellent. My only complaint was that the selection of wines they have out on display when you first walk into the restaurant have different prices then what is on the menu. The wine selection from the menu was much more expensive. Just wanted to let you know since the staff will not. Other then that, it was a very nice experience.
