Diner Reviews
  • "Mia resturant in in the casino and you would not know it. You do not hear any noise. Food was great and so was the service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great find."

  • "Everything was great. The food was good ( I tried something new - tuna) The salads very crisp. Had no room for dessert. Our waiter (Don't remember his name) was ver helpful. It was our first time at Mias. The matra'd was very cheerful. Will definitely go there again."

  • "We've been to Mia's several times, and it's always wonderful - atmosphere, service, and most of all, food - presentation, taste - and a real value for the whole experience."

  • "Delicious food. It's definitely Italian inspired, but more creative than the normal basics you'd usually see. The restaurant itself is very cool - they really figured out how to make an indoor dining location truly feel like we are dining in the open air! Highly recommended"

  • "This was my 3rd time at Mia's and they never dissapoint me. I had an awesome seafood dish with spicy lobster sauce, delicious! My friends and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the waiter was great and very attentive. This is a spot I will go to every time I visit AC."

  • "Food was excellent although a little on the pricey side. Drinks were top-notch. Service was equally very good. Would recommend for a full meal or indicidual dishes."

  • "The wild mushroom risotto was wonderful as was the chicken Marsala. Appetizers were good and surprisingly large for Appetizers. Service was great."

  • "I have eaten here numerous times, never disappointed yet. Perfect start to finish. Try the octopus app, it's great."

  • "Food was good. I ordered the filet mignon on top of red wine spaghetti. It was good, but it wasn't great. I've had better filet mignon's at home. It didn't have much flavor. I also asked for rare, and it was medium rare. I also ordered the crab salad. I only ate the crab and bean sprouts. The best part of the meal was the bread. My husband ordered some fettucine shells. He said it was good."

  • "Never ever fails. Food is outstanding and service too. The wine list has so many options to choose from. This is by far one of if not the best restaurant in AC."

  • "Overpriced and pretentious menu. The food was served elegantly and all staff was extremely welcoming but, the food did not meet our expectations."

  • "We ate here on a Saturday night. The service was great and food amazing! Our appetiZEr and meals came out very quickly, a little too quick. We would have liked to had at least 20 min in between courses. We will definitely come back!"

  • "The food was prepared well and the service was the best. I enjoyed the special menu for the occasion. The prices were fair."

  • "It was my first time trying out Mia and I am absolutely digging the food. Everything was prepared in a timely manner and especially since it was Valentine's night I was expecting a longer wait. They were very kind to be able to reschedule my reservation because I arrived half an hour late and everyone was very friendly. The only thing I have to complain about was that our server was a bit too abrupt for my taste. He would zip from one place to another. Although I do feel that because my date and I look under 20 that people probably didn't take us as seriously as I would like. Otherwise the food was great, I love the atmosphere that was set and everything was quick."

  • "Was in Atlantic City for the weekend and went to MIA for Valentine's dinner. The service was great; attentive but not annoying. Food was excellent. We got the mussels and the Lobster Bolognese as appetizers. Both were very good but the mussels were amazing! They came in this sausage broth that was so good we needed more bread just so we didn't waste it! Entrees were delicious. Don't normally like the skin on salmon but this was crispy..very good! Red velvet cheesecake for dessert just topped it all off. Would've liked a table closer to the center of the room rather then back by the wall and the kitchen, since it was very beautiful place, but the food surely made up for it!!!"

  • "I asked the waiter about subsituting 3 choices but he had to ask the chef all 3 times. He didn't seem know. Asked for a hard cheese to be used in my Risotto, instead of soft cheese since I don't enjoy the texture,.being a vegetarian, but they used the soft cheese anyway. (The type that was mentioned in the menu) Although tasty and creamy (like a Mac n cheese) I couldn't eat much because I don't eat or enjoy soft cheeses.I ate some so my husband's night would not be ruined but it was disappointing. Good wine good bread. Tables should have white tablecloths. Even though they suggested 'bussiness casual' lots of gamblers were in jeans which took from the experience."

  • "Chef Paul is one of the most creative chefs in Atlantic City - Quality ingredients, put together skillfully and presented beautifully. Service is first rate. Jason, Victor and the service team do an excellent job - attentive but not obtrusive. The setting is open, airy and unique in Atlantic City. It is modeled after a Roman Temple with high ceilings and massive columns. A great place to forget the snow and enjoy a delightful dining experience."

  • "We eat at Mia's frequently and it has always been great. This was an exception. The waiter spent much of his time with his regulars and didn't pay attention to his other tables. It took us an hour after appetizers to get our dinner and was not that crowded. When dinner did arrive, my husband's food was hot and tasted amazing. Mine came out cold. I applaud the restaurant for taking my meal and wine off of the check and we will go back. I hope the waiters understand that while regulars deserve exceptional treatment, the other customers do need service."

  • "Everything was very good from the food, atmosphere and the pricing. However the star was the service. Fast, courteous and attentive are just a few of the adjectives that describe the outstanding service we received. My wife was celebrating a birthday and our server, Philip, treated us like royalty. If your looking for authentic Italian cuisine at a fair price with over the top service then Mia's is your place. Remember to ask for Philip."

  • "The food was a little disappointing. My husbands strip steak was fatty and chewy. I had the short rib of beef which was good but portion very very small. Service and ambience very good. We will not go back there."

  • "food was just ok. waited too long for bread to arrive at table. The TVs at the bar took away the fancy façade that this place was trying to convey to the people this place was to be presented as a fancy diner restaurant but fell short."

  • "MIA's never seems to disappoint. The food always seems to be excellent and well prepared. The bread provided is to die for! (My Opinion, especially when paired with the PEI Mussels! The service is typically very good to excellent."

  • "I used to love Mia. It's been going downhill in quality and execution. We started with the "Charred Octopus" appetizer and the "Orecchiette Lobster Bolognese". The octopus was overdone and tough, and neither spicy nor tasty. The orecchiette was OK, not outstanding. We shared one entree of grilled whole striped bass, "Bronzino Intero". The fish was grilled perfectly. However, it was done with lemon, fresh thyme and cherry tomatoes, finished with butter, which was exactly what I have done many times at home for quick dinners, and was not especially inventive. Worse, Mia's version is nowhere as zesty nor tasty as mine would have been, lacking aromatics; a bit of sauteed garlic or onion or leek would have helped."

  • "Chef Paul's Pastas are creative and delicious. Particularly love the Rigatoni Bolognese and the unique Agnolotti. My wife really enjoys the Orrcchiette Lobster Bolognese, and the Homemade Cavatelli Pasta is also a favorite. Often have a half order of one of these as an appetizer. For entrees, the Zuppa di Pesce is always a big hit, as is the Filet Mignon. Service is professional and friendly. Jason, Victor and the team do a great job. The ambiance is unique in Atlantic City, a Roman Temple with massive columns and high ceiling. Mia is a special place for a holiday celebration."

  • "Over all the restaurant was nice. The main server Jason was good. They were accommodating to a time change and friendly. The food was good, but not memorable for the price. One thing that bothered me was when they brought the bread to the table we asked for dipping oil instead of butter. Thinking that we would get this flavorful olive oil with spices, all we got was a small bowl of pretty basic olive oil with no spices what so ever. The table didn't even have salt and pepper on it. It was convenient to the hotel and nice but I wouldn't be in a hurry to return."

  • "Chef Paul defines what a Master Chef should be in Atlantic City. He delivers high quality in his superb combination of ingredients, his preparation, and his artistic presentation of his delicious, innovative creations. Service is first rate. Jason, Victor and the team all add to making the dining experience special. The Roman Temple setting is unique in Atlantic City and takes you to another place and time. Dave, the Manager, always comes over to ensure that everything is enjoyable. Overall, consistently 5 Stars."

  • "In the middle of the hustle n bustle of ceasers lobby sits an oaisis. The food is delicious and fresh. The menu is small but something for everyone. I prefer a small menu More thought goes into it. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. You forget your in the lobby it is private and an upscale decor. Good for a romantic dinnet too!!"

  • "Checked the reviews and received a recommendation by a friend for this AC restaurant. The ambiance was beautiful and loved the well spaced tables. The service was very good and the timing in between the courses was perfect. The Baked Clams appetizer was melt in your mouth good as the hint of applewood smoked bacon was the perfect touch. The Lobster Bolognese entrée was a bit salty, but the pasta was al dente and the lobster was good. The Cavatelli entrée was excellent. Overall, a great dining experience."

  • "Couldn't wait to get back and enjoy Chef Paul's Filet Mignon with Black Truffle, Wild Mushroom Barlotto, Porcini Cream and Port Poached Fresh Figs-Outstanding Also had a half order of Rigatoni Bolognese as appetizer-Excellent. The Crispy Tuscan Bread is delicious. Instead of butter, I dip it in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Service was first rate as usual with Jason, Victor and the team. I always find the spacious Roman Temple setting a unique, attractive and comfortable setting for the wonderful meal to come."
