We arrived for Easter Brunch to find an eviction notice on the front door. Mi Piaci's was dark. There was no brunch. I don't know when they were evicted, but it's very hard to find a spontaneous brunch available on Easter. We received e-mails all week, reminding us of our reservation, menu included. Surreal.

Overall service was good. We were early evening and it was quiet. Bruschetta was a little soggy. Salad was fresh and appealing. Pizza was OK, but not special and the pasta was the same. I had high hopes for above average "Italian" cuisine and while the entrees were decent, I do not think we would be compelled to return soon. We really wanted this to work.

We really enjoy Mi Piachi. While others wait 45 min to get into Houston's across the street we know we almost always get right into this fun well run locals place. Great pastas and salads and nice wine list that is well picked. Good place for couples and those with kids who want to have a great meal and perhaps a glass of wine.

Location in Addison was quiet, dim and romantic. Location at Preston and NW Hwy is very loud and bright. Cute up and down patio. Food is very very good. Much appreciate the anniversary Prosecco.

We've loved Mi Piaci for years and miss their first location. However their new digs are modern and cozy. The service,as always, was perfect. I had a low calorie lunch of salmon on a salad with an olive oil based dressing. Absolutely fabulous but I wonder about the 300 calories listed on the menu. Seems like a lot of dressing for 300 cal. I love the homey Italian touch of the owner checking on each diner like you are his personal guest at his home. Felt like I was in Tuscany!

PERFECT - every time we return it is consistent, great specialty pasta, fresh ingredients are obvious, personal attention from the moment you walk in the front door, excellent service and some very good wine - this time we had dessert and the cheesecake is light and the berries were so beautiful, it was perfect - this restaurant does not disappoint and the staff is attentive and they make you feel special. Super fresh ingredients is worth repeating in this review. Amazing.

Part of what made Mi Piaci magic was the location in Addison. The new one in Park Cities has the same great food and service but a reduced wine list and okay ambience. Its fine for a work dinner or something, but not as special as it once was….

Saturday night was energetic and the place was packed. The four of us enjoyed the carpaccio and Calamari appetizers. The food was really good although not spectacular. My wife had a mushroom pizza which was extremely average. My risotto was rich and creamy and fantastic. Prepare to pay a price premium for location (Park Cities) and beautifully designed interior. We are really looking forward to coming back here in the spring when the upstairs patio bar and downstairs lounge should be fantastic! Our service on this particular evening was not good though. Our waiter disappeared for long periods.

Food was marginal, at best. However, my central complaint is the service. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded for a Saturday evening and there were no people waiting for tables to vacated. Nonetheless, I felt like we were placed on a time clock the minute we sat down. The server was at the table constantly pushing the next course, which literally arrived within 30 seconds of the previous item being removed. We barely had the chance to consume a small bowl of muscles before the waitress was plopping our salads down in front of us. I felt I was on a race course being pushed to the finish with no time to enjoy my meal or conversation with my spouse without constant interruption from the server. This was not an enjoyable dining experience.

The service was great, the parking was terrible, The food did not compare to the old place. It took a buddy to lunch and he like his soup but my spagettini al Pomodora was pretty looking but the sauce had little flavor. Maybe the problem was lunch. In the past I have always gone in the evening. Mi Pacci may use a different kitchen staff for lunch. Also I did not know there was a parking garage in the back. Yes, I will go back and try it again.

This place was so noisy at 7:00 pm on a weeknight that you could not carry on a conversation across the table. Also, it was my date's birthday and she had a letter from Mi Piaci for a free birthday entree with the purchase of another. We ordered our two entrees and, at the end of dinner, we ordered a pizza to go for her brother. They charged us for both entrees and took off the pizza. Really?

The Addison Mi Piaci was a really nice place for a special occasion - great ambiance, great service, great food. This place is nice, and I like the decor and layout a lot. The food was good but not "rave-about" great. The service was downright slow. We had to ask several times for refills of bread or wine, even though the place was not crowded. (We were there early before a concert at 8 pm and there were only a few other tables filled.) There are plenty of good places to eat in Dallas. This one is OK and may be nicer when it gets warm and you can sit outside. For now, I'll be content to go somewhere else.

Outstanding dining experience again. My friends, family and I have been pleased with their consistant quality and taste of their food and attentive service. The beet salad even appealed to the "non vegetable " eater in my party. The veal was delicious and tender, as always. The dessert they brought for my birthday was creamy and decadent. Mi Piaci is my "go to" restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Mi Piaci has been around for a while and I ate there at the old location near Addison in the past. This is a very nice location, much more modern and cool and better suited to the city, whereas the old one was more romantic and classic. Food is still great. I prefer the old location to be honest, but I really enjoyed my anniversary dinner here. Its a beautiful place, I guess I just liked that classic feel the old location had.

Had been to the old location in Addison, and the new Park Cities location is far more convenient to me. Food was great - awesome and unique calamari - like calamari fingers with a nicely spicy chili sauce. Osso bucco was perfect, melt-in-your-mouth tender, served with risotto, which was also excellent. Although it was cold outside, we sat on the upstairs patio, and it was enclosed and quite comfortable. I consider this to be the best Italian food in Dallas and look forward to a return visit in the very near future.

My neighborhood needed a non-pretentious Italian menu with a customer- friendly atmosphere and I think Mi Piaci has filled the gap. I have visited three times and my wife and I always felt welcomed by the staff. I should note that the variety of customers New Years Eve ranged from young to middle aged and the "not-so-young" like myself; that mix suits me and it speaks well of the restaurant.

My father in law is difficult to please and he was blown away by the quality of the food, the quality of the service, and the cozy modern feel of the place. We had the branzino, osso bucco, tuna carpaccio, and fusilli with seasonal mushrooms...all of which we're top notch. Thank you Mi Piaci for making my holidays just a little bit easier. I was looking for a bit more of a romantic restaurant, like Mi Piaci used to be in the Addison neighborhood. This Mi Piaci was way too brightly lit for a romantic evening, and the waiter forgot to add a meal we had requested to-go, and then when he did bring it, he brought the meal in it's packaging and the bag...for US to put it in. Odd.

Not sure if this is an overall issue or just because we seemingly had a new waiter. Our waiter had difficulty with the specials and what they were, told the diner next to us that a dish was prepared one way and it was in fact the opposite, did not know the wine list, and was almost shoving food onto the table which was too small for our appetizer and main courses to fit comfortably on. The services was speedy and the main courses came out much faster than expected, but overall the service left a lot to be desired. I'll most likely return as I believe the watier was a fairly new and was just a case of the nerves but it was definitely off putting. Hope this isn't a result of the restaurant moving from its old location in Addison.
