The traditions of mezze-style dining is the inspiration in creating Mezze's contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. We take… the bounty of fresh product and local produce and combine them with the flavors and soul of the Mediterranean. "Good small plates at $12 and up, especially enjoyed the lamb risotto, mussels, sea scallop, cauliflower flatbread, churros. They also offer 4 larger sized (and priced) entrees, but we stuck to the tapas. The room's acoustics are loud, and the music says they're going for a younger more energetic vibe, at least on Saturday night. Manager graciously offered free drinks at the bar due to a valet mishap that kept us waiting 30 minutes. Not the restaurant's fault but they tried to make it right. Will go back, maybe for the lunch special which seems like a good deal. Would be a great place to have a drink & light bite before/after theater or a movie."

"NEVER SAT AT OUR TABLE. We left a place where we also had a reservation (which we canceled) to come here. We were told upon arrival that our table was 30 mins behind... that never even happened. We had dinner at the bar -not the cool over looking the kitchen bar. The food was fine. The Hostess came by first to offer us a complimentary pita bread (are you kidding???) then she came again to say she could offer us a "vegetable" from the menu. We said we were ordering something else and she said she would not offer us that.... anyway - NOT going back - and do they really need to play Black Sabbath and show Ultimate Fighting Videos at the bar if people are forced to eat their dinners there??? Just saying.....there are better places to go."

"The best dish of the night was the flatbread (like a pizza) with feta, cauliflower, raisins and Greek olives....really exceptional. The rest of the plates were good, but not that memorable. I would try it again."

"Great place to go, lunch or dinner. Food is always on point and love the dessert, cocktails and wine also. One of my favorite places to go in L.A., no one is treating middle eastern food with this kind of thoughtfulness, precision and quality and its time others took notice."

"Everything we ate was exquisite, so many flavorful, thoughtful dishes. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Over all we had an excellent experience and would recommend it to anyone. The decor is welcoming as well."

"This is definitely one I recommend to try with some adventurous friends! Amazingly innovative use of flavors and ingredients, it's really a must try if you like something different from the norm. Service was exceptional -- our waiter was so friendly and helpful in navigating the menu, and the manager (I think), also gave us great guidance in our choices. We never had to ask twice for anything. Cocktails were SUPERB, great wine list to go with the flavors."

"Right as we walked in, we could feel that the restaurant is a welcoming and friendly place. Our server helped with suggestions and organizing our choices into three courses. All the selections from the beet salad to the uni-couscous were tastefully combined without being overly self-conscious. There's plenty to choose from for a vegetarian, but meat and fish are well represented, too. The flavors of each dish were bright, clear and unique. The yogurt dessert with ginger cookies is just one of the reasons I'll be back. The service was attentive and very helpful."
