Metropolitan ClubGreat dinnerAfter staying away for several months after a couple of less than spectacular meals, we gave the original Met Club another try. We were pleasantly surprised as the food was back to the level we once knew. Everything was excellent--steak, chicken, salads, sides and cocktails. Special callout to Philip--one of best servers in Boston. For dinner, I had the gnocchi with lobster, and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten! There was a ton of lobster in the dish, which I wasn't expecting since it was Restaurant Week (and so dinner was not expensive). The appetizers (some sort of pork ravioli for the hubby, and falafel fritters for me) and desserts were also great. We had the beef and the lobster gnocchi and both were excellent. The ravioli appetizer was also excellent.
