A group of us went for "Spaghetti
night". Web site advertised that day (and still on). Placards on the table. Sorry, that has been discontinued. We went on a Sunday night--lots of kids and families. Wouldn't go back for date night, but for a quick lunch with friends at the Mall, it works."

it was a good atmosphere, but the
burger was very average and i substituted the kale salad for fries, and it was full of grit, which was very unpleasant. Plus, they dont give any OpenTable points which is disappointing. Doubt I' will go back anytime soon."

The Met Bar & Grille was a very
busy place on a Friday night. We've been here before and like their hamburgers, so that's why we returned. The menu has a large variety of choice, especially for hamburgers. The selection is great and they offer some unique choices to try. We tried The Fenway with bacon and a fried egg topped on the burger which was delicious. The burgers are a bit large to handle, so come hungry. Fries are very crispy. The Met also has a variety of micro beers to chose from. Our server was busy, but he gave us good service and it didn't take long to have the meal come out. Besides burgers and sandwiches they have salads and full dinners. Some of the entrees have a gourmet flair. Good value, worth the visit."

We had been so surprised and
delighted with our first visit to the met bar-super interesting food combined with a nice, grown up bar/restaurant atmosphere - that we were excited to come back and try a few other things on the extensive menu. Unfortunately, the second time around was not as charming - same great scene and excellent service, but my "mini burgers" - sliders" were served virtually cold (thankfully the fries were hot and perfect) and my cesaer salad had a dressing more reminiscent of thousand island than cesaer. My dining partner tried the new york strip, which he found to be pretty average, although he thought the smashed potatoes were a great accompaniment. Hoping it was just an overly busy Friday night as this is a cute spot."

I typically order a burger here
and it's always very good. Round it off with a nice micro brew beer and it's a great option for a casual meal with our kids when we're in the mall."

Will be one of the best burgers
you will ever have."

Pan-seared tuna was very good.
Stone rice bowl had fresh, interesting veggies. Everything was quickly prepared and hot. Service was good. Waiters were very attentive. Seated at "the windows", view is of bare trees and parked cars. Door opening to outside was slightly drafty on a cold day. Dining room next time or bar."

We have been to the Met Bar here
and newton and Boston.......we always enjoy it.....the menu offers a good variety of items.......the drinks are delicious and the service is excellent.....whether we sit at the bar for two or at a table for six.......have had lunch and dinner there....will continue to eat at The Met Bar......"

We hadn't dined at The Met in
several years so were excited to go. The menu is extensive, which I actually find a detriment -- it's hard to get through all the lists of items and I really wonder if they do them all well. That said, 2 of us ordered burgers, 1 steak tips and 1 had onion soup and fries. We also had the housemade guacamole. The guacamole was good, but salty, the steak sauce was overpowering, and the onion soup was fair. The burgers were good, but nothing special. But the service was horrendous. We had a waiter who didn't every listen to the whole request, took forever to bring back drinks, food, refills, etc., pretty much ignored our table for much of the time. We would have to think twice before returning."

The tune/salmon tartare was only
salmon I had ordered a salad because I wanted something fresh; it was soaked in dressing and cheese. I could barely see green"

Wonderful as usual. The menu as
good as Met Back Bay (probably identical). Our server was very attentive and helpful. We had a very pleasant dining experience. The food was well prepared and spot on as ordered"

Horrible experience. Didn't even
receive part of our meal."

My party had reservations for a
Saturday evening - something you might want to consider given that the Natick mall is about to be very busy through the end of the year. Our server was fantastic - sorry to say I don't remember her name. She got all of our orders right for a party of 6, including special requests due to dietary needs. Apps / starters included buffalo shrimp over asparagus (very good - not much heat though) and salsa and guacamole (salsa got good reviews from the group, and the guac was fair, but so chunky that the chips had a hard time scooping it up). Two in our party ordered the steak tips medium and the meat arrived pretty tough in both of our orders. The vinegar peppers and mashed potato accompaniments were quite good."

Perhaps the best thing about this
eatery are the hamburgers and sandwiches. They are great. The entrees are good, but not the price/value you get from a hamburger or sandwich."
Dined on 11/11/2013
All dishes were way to greasy with
too much oil and fat."
Dined on 11/7/2013
Had a late lunch with family-
added another member to our reservation easily. Service was excellent, although it was hard for our waiter to hear us as it was quite noisy. Couldn't stop eating my food-got sirloin steak."
Dined on 11/9/2013
Had high hopes for this restaurant
but very disappointed with tasteless good. Never had worse eggs Benedict before and sadly this restaurant delivered just that. Sad for a restaurant that is very beautiful and comfortable. Guess you should stick to the hamburgers!"

A dinner date with my teenage
granddaughter. We had a lovely meal. One of the highpoints was the server did not miss a beat when no alcohol was ordered. (Sometimes servers seem really annoyed by this.)"
Dined on 11/1/2013
The food is always cooked and
served just the way you would expect in a place that cares about its customers. The waitstaff is always friendly and energetic. The bottom line: you feel like you are truly welcomed. I had a very tasty salmon burger this time, but other times I ate the lunch combinations. The combos are special because you get to choose just about anything on the menu from salad, soups, and sandwiches."

Had a fantastic meal, food,
service, all exceptional. Extremely food allergy friendly, aware, served safely to two members of our parrty. Nice variity on the menu. Our party of six all enjoyed our meals and service."

This place is known for burgers,
and the other people with me really enjoyed their burgers, but the tuna on the block of rice was amazing! The tuna was perfectly cooked and the wasabi complemented it nicely. But the rice stuffed with mushrooms and edamame had such a unique delicious flavor. I would go back just for the rice. The presentation was also very nice."

The Met Bar is a good burger
joint. It is in an upscale mall so the prices are what they are. It's better than Five Guys but not as good as In-N-Out but that's a west coast thing anyway. Best burger anywhere? That title goes to Black Mountain Burger Company in Lincoln, NH."
Dined on 9/24/2013
Although the restaurant was not
very full we were seated in the back at a small table for two with view of the back kitchen door. The Met bar offers a variety of craft beers and we tried an IPA that was very good. They serve complimentary wine cheddar cheese with sesame sticks, but we didn't get ours right away. The chicken club sandwich was very good, as well as the Cuban sandwich. Both were generous portions. We've been here before and the burgers are always very good and large."

Food is unfortunately hit or miss
in this mall spot. Nice room, great bar, big kid-friendly dining room. Enjoy and good luck."

A great getaway in the middle of a
busy shopping area. We ate outside and it was very nice. Suggestion: make outdoor seating more comfortable."
Dined on 8/24/2013
consistently good. Great new
falafel burger option (don't laugh, it was good)."
Dined on 8/21/2013
We ate outside so noise was not an
issue but the food was bland and the service was dull. Just another mall restaurant. Definitely better choices are available."
Dined on 8/11/2013
Good food, great drinks, fantastic
service and a great spot if you're out near The Natick Collection / Natick Mall. Large round tables are comfortable for gathering larger groups of 6+ together. Love the valet service outside!"

Too loud! Could not even think or
carry on a conversation! Food was jut okay.....actually, the sweet potato fries were good. Not going back"
Dined on 7/24/2013
Had a variety of burgers that
would fit all types of people."
Dined on 7/21/2013
For mall food, it was acceptable.
Everyone but me had a burger. I should have had a burger. Instead, I went for the healthy option of a veggie heavy brown rice dish (as I am gluten free). I chose the steak for a topper - and asked for it rare, it came medium well. The whole dish was over cooked. The burgers were a huge hit with the rest of the family - and I tasted a couple fried which were terrific. We opened with the guacamole - and it was delicious. The server was very polite, but the time between requests and arrival was indeed long.... the place was very busy at 9 pm on a Friday night."

I come from living in Boston where
every night is a new swanky spot. My boyfriend comes from a meat and potatoes home that never ate out much. My parents think Applebee's is a fine dining establishment. We all left met happy and full. The food can be as creative as you want"
Dined on 7/18/2013
Dined there on a Friday night.
Service was attentive. Their menu has changed since last time we were there. I do not recommend the tartar appetizer. The fish was not cut properly, instead you have large chunks in a not very tasty tangy mayo sauce. The burger I got was good and done to my request. Fries were nice."
Dined on 7/13/2013
the restaurant is perfect!!! not
mall's food at all. it was the best steak i've ever had. according to my wife it was the best chicken salad she had as well. highly recommended"
Dined on 7/8/2013
As usual, the Met Bar was busy,
and this time I went on a thursday night. The waitress was great, we asked to be left for a while as we had some catching up to do, and she was very responsive. The food, once ordered, arrived quickly and was delicious. I would advise asking NOT to be sat in the high booths on the right by the entrance, as most of them are missing the foot rest rails, and even at 5'11", I find it uncomfortable to sit with my legs hanging. Will be back."
Dined on 6/14/2013
The service was terrible. We had
to ask for a fork several times as well as our appetizer. The appetizer came out just before our main course. We all (3) tried the rice bowl and al 3 of us did not enjoy it. It had a weird tatse. U had mine with steak. It was suppose to be skirt stake butwas think, chewy and fatty. Maybe the burgers are OK there. I will not hury back"
Dined on 5/29/2013
I had never been to the Met for
lunch before but was pleasantly surprised to find the numerous lunch options they had at reasonable prices. The size of the plates was also more similar to dinner portions. I would definitely recommend it for lunch or dinner."
Dined on 5/27/2013
Would go back. We had a very nice
meal, plenty of options, not rushed, but at times left waiting... Service was a bit slow. Four in our party. Steak - excellent, Mac n Cheese very creamy, hamburger cooked to perfection. The gluten free sole was ok, breading had a soggy texture, probably wouldn't order again. Bar selections were very good and seating and view was very nice. Would consider for pre/post movie night and they have a great bar area with plenty of seating as well."
Dined on 5/12/2013
The food was not good, server was
over anxious to get us to leave."

If you're looking for upscale
Bristro food this is your place. Went with two friends for a girls night out and we had a great evening. Love this menu. All three of us had salads with Kobe patties on top. That's right. Instead of boring grilled chicken we had a delicious and juicy Kobe burger on top if our Wedge salads and they were great!"
