"One out of 4 diners enjoyed their meal. 2 of us ordered the Met Benedict and when it finally arrived, everything on the plate was barely warm. The "country ham" was sliced deli ham and the 4 pieces of potato weren't warm, either. 2 of the people ordered specials that came with juice, coffee and a biscuit - none of which were delivered. Our waiter was more concerned with whatever else was going on than about us. I would not recommend this place for brunch. A kitchen that sends cold poached eggs to the table is inexcusable."

"Disappointing!
It was not busy but we had to wait 10 mins to be seated. We were seated in a booth that needed some patching up - the restaurant looks tired and worn. The Korean Chicken Tacos were delicious but the Met Flatbread was served room temp (at best) and was tasteless. We ordered a Kobe burger and mac and cheese and they were good. Service was okay but certainly could have been better."

"We stopped by Met Bar because we were at the mall and were looking for something better than the Food Court (and we know they have very good burgers). The nice waitress talked me into the Miso Salmon. $19. Terribly small and tasteless. Wasn't worth 5$. Maybe I could fill up on bread. Oh wait, our table was the only one that didn't get any. Oh well. Burger next time... Or food court."

"Have not been here in a while and now I remember why. The food really was terrible.
I had a burger and everything about it was over done. The burger itself was cooked beyond recognition and had no flavor the bacon was burnt and brittle and the bun was stale. Also tried the clam chowder which again was below par. There was a strange green liquid on top which the waitress could only explain as the way it is made here - and the soup itself was uneven - some parts were as if they dropped a glop of mashed potato in the middle while other parts were watery. Just cannot recommend this place anymore and the fact that they were not busy on a Sat night seemed to show others have figured this out as well."

"The Met Bar is one of our favorite places to go for a quick dinner. Unfortunately, the Met Bar has been slowing down and becoming cheaper with what they give you. When the Met Bar first opened you would get seasoned fries with your burger. Also they are cutting back on some of my favorites: the olive tapenade for the burgers and incredible mozzarella sticks are no longer on the menu. Thing like this differentiated the Met Bar from just another Irish Pub. At a place that charges this much for a burger, they are slowly loosing what makes the Met Bar special."

"Food was ok the cocktail was lacking and the service was bad.... I ordered the kobe and when I got the bill they gave me the regular, the cocktail tasted different then we had before."

"Warm and friendly host and hostess to greet us and very accomodating to my party's request to change seat location. It is quite noisy but the seating is comfortable and the food was good. We had steak kabobs over chedddar mashed potatos and it was yummy. Desserts of Toll House pie and apple crumble were ok, not bad, not great but nice enough to linger over with coffee. We would go again."

"We went for the hamburgers and the Burger
Bar is really great. Something for everyone. The round table we had was requested and comfortable but the lighting was poor and too dark."
